Matcott’s Coursing Treble In South Australia
On a small 6 race program, Shaun Matcott led in a treble with Bambi Bale, Allen Dodger and Allen Davis.
The other Shaun, Laffin that is, produced a very handy dog in Lorenzo who took time honours when running 15.06 and then went on to win the GOTBA Maiden Stake.
Tim Ieraci's Elusive Passion greeted the Judge as did Carole Scott's Daddy Kewell.
Our next meeting is set down for Sunday 14 August when normal graded events will be run – all dependent upon nominations received. Remember, if the Club receives enough nominations, a Veteran's Stake will be run so it's over to you.
Please note that the Waterloo Cup, Oaks and Derby will now be run on the originally scheduled date of 17 – 18 September. Both the Oaks and Derby carry prizemoney of $1800 to the winner provided 16 nominations are received.
The Waterloo Cup carries a winner's purse of $3000 with 32 nominations needed.
The Waterloo is run over 2 days with 2 runs on Saturday 17th and 3 runs on Sunday 18th.
