Dyna Villa had been struggling for a little while but he appeared to show some of his best form when placed at Shepparton last time. He was still beaten in that race but he showed his normal brilliant early dash and was just beaten by a chaser which is in career best form. From the pink draw tonight he should be able to carve across and assume control as they head for the back straight, he will need the run fitness wise but this isn't an overly strong heat so he should hold on.

Ollie Bale is drawn poorly but if he can avoid bother at the first bend he will prove hard to hold out. He has turned in three great performances at recently with the latest being a slick 29.87 victory, my biggest concern with him is the amount of speed drawn directly on his outside.

Emrys is a strong chaser and he appears well draw in the red, I think he might get too far back to win but he will charge home late and he has great place prospects.

Are Jai Que should lead to the first bend but I'm assuming that Dyna Villa will zip past mid race, if he can hold second spot off the back he should be able to grab some minor money.

Quasi Bale turned in an almighty performance when winning the Richmond Derby last time out and with a clear run early tonight he should be able to continue his winning form. There is a little bit of speed drawn on his outside but with an even getaway he should be able to settle in the top three and I would expect him to prove too strong in the run home.

Zipping Abby is well drawn out wide and she has a great record here, she normally steps well and she does possess good early speed. With a slow beginner on her outside she should be afforded all the breaks early and if she can reproduce her 29.66 PB run she will be right in the finish.

Allen Deed has been struggling of late but he is a genuine star and he will be suited to the wide draw. He should get a clear passage early and if he can balance up in the first half of the field, he should be fighting out the finish.

Spacecraft rounds out the chances, he is in devastating form at present and he should run a big race, however he is rising in class and he will need to do everything right early.

I'm not keen to take the short odds but I do think with an ounce of luck he should be winning, My Bro Fabio is probably the hottest chaser in the land at present and he ran the hands off the clock in a trial here last week. The box draw will pose some problems but if he can balance up midfield and get out into some open space he should be right there at the end.

Caustic Bale is an enormous talent and if he happened to get across he would definitely prove hard to reel in. In recent weeks he has shown his strength with two Sandown Park wins and with a keen railer drawn underneath he should get a nice cart across in the run to the first bend and he will then get every chance to show his best.

Dyna Yemen is much better than his form indicates and he has come up with the good draw, he can show good early speed in his races and there is no speed at all on his outside, so with an even getaway he should be able to settle in a threatening position and he will be good odds.

Keybow is a star and he is returning to racing, it's hard to know where he is at fitness wise and he will need a lot to go his way from the awkward draw.

Very even affair and I have decided to go with the favourably drawn Samus Allen, she was a recent finalist in the Group 1 Australian Cup and she has been in rare form in recent months. She has two slow beginners drawn on her outside and the two will move wide, so that should allow her to get all the breaks in the run to the first bend.

Midnight Flynn is well placed in the pink draw and he has scored some sizzling wins from wide draws in recent months. Outside of the one and the four, there doesn't appear to be a lot of early speed in this event so he should be able to settle in a threatening position and he will be strong in the run to the line.

Sisco Rage has loads of talent and he is another who has been racing in great style, once again he has drawn poorly and will need luck early but he is too good to dismiss.

Zipping Carter and Whittaker round out the chances, both have big engines but they are both average beginners and they will need a lot of things to go right early to feature.

Luca Neveelk won the Group 1 Australian Cup last time out and although he is having his first look at the track, he should get the cash. He is a faultless beginner and he should be able to out muster any runner in this event, he will need some luck as he heads through the first bend as he will shift a little wide but once he balances up he should put a space in them mid race.

Dawkins Bale is a serious talent and he caught the eye with a sizzling 29.85 Meadows win last time out. He is normally a very good beginner and he possesses a great turn of foot and with the benefit of having seen the track he should make work hard for victory.

Rue De Kahn has been going quite well of late and she should be in the mix for a long way, her lack of mid race speed is a small concern but she has a great record here and if the fancied runners make any mistakes she will be there to capitalise.

Nightwatchmen could be the value for the place, he lacks early zip but he is very strong and there are quite a few runners in this race who struggle to get the journey.

This is one of the best heats of the night and there are five genuine winning chances, however Dyna Double One is expected to start fairly short and I think he will get the cash. He has a fast beginner drawn directly underneath and that should give him a nice cart into the first bend, he was placed in his only start here and he should prove far too strong for his rivals if given a clear run.

Over Limit is an up and coming star and he has recently joined the powerful Paul Stuart kennel, he is having his first look at the track so that is a small concern but he has high speed and he should put himself into contention at the first turn.

Anything Less is a track specialist and he will be powering to the line. There is no doubting he can match the top two talent wise but his lack of early speed is always a worry, however the rails draw should suit and I think he is a great place bet.

Lamia Bale has been racing in very consistent fashion in recent months and she was desperately unlucky in the Australian Cup Final recently. She will need a few things to go her way early but if she happens to get across into a top three position she will make a big impact.

Another brilliant lineup and Fernando Bale should have the edge. Presently I believe he is the fastest chaser in the land and he just does everything right in his races. He has won seven of his past eight starts and most of those victories have been in near record times, he should ping away again tonight and once he finds the they won't get anywhere near him.

Azza Azza Azza has the good draw and he is another who is in rare form. Last time out he made the classy Dyna Villa look like a Grade 5 chaser and from the red he should be able to settle just behind Fernando Bale early, I dont think he can reel the leader in but he should hang on for the quinella spot.

Quartz Bale was runner up in the Group One Australian Cup last time out and he obviously needs to be respected, he is a super fast chaser and with a clear run he will take it right up to the two top picks. The only worry with this chaser is that he can be a tad slow to begin and he may get squeezed out early.

Pretty even affair but if the real Hostile shows up he should be able to lead throughout. He trialled here last week in a dazzling 29.63 and he only went 5.51 to the first marker, I believe he is capable of getting down to 5.45 early and that would almost be enough to hold them out at the first bend.

Diva's Shadow is an explosive beginner and she has won five of her past six in ridiculous fashion. She looks the genuine leader in the race and she has seen the track, so if she finds the bunny early she will force them to run 29.70 or better to reel her in.

Zipping Willow is well drawn out wide, if she can avoid getting crowded in the initial stages she should be able to settle in the top three and she will make a strong move mid race.

Spring Leaf and Winsome Prince are both great chances, both are capable of running times and if either of them happen to ping they have enough speed to lead, however both appear poorly drawn and they will need some luck in running.

Winsome Mission is an absolute beast and he appears ideally drawn in the pink. Last week he was desperately unlucky in the Richmond Derby Final and he should be able to make amends tonight. There is no speed at all drawn underneath him tonight and both the six and seven will be looking for the rail soon after box rise. He should be able to balance up quickly and hit the bend at full speed and I'm expecting him to put a space in them mid race.

Bad Boy Sniper has a great record here and he too has a very big engine, I'm a little concerned about the draw but he can ping away at times and if he can settle in the first half of the field he will make his presence felt.

Dyna Glinda has been racing in great style over the middle distances of late and she has come up with the coveted red draw. She has been showing great dash in her races of late and with a clean getaway she could have enough speed to hold them out early.

Weblec Belle is more than capable of winning a race of this calibre, however she is better suited to a wider draw.

Last chance to qualify and Kerrigan Bale should get every chance to score. She has won three of five over this trip and her latest victory over this journey was in a sizzling 29.73 and she followed that effort up with a blinding 29.69 win at The Meadows. She is normally a very reliable beginner and there isn't a lot of speed in this event, so she should get a cheap lead and I can see her leading all the way.

Allen Malik is never far away in his races and he has won two of three here previously, from the red he should be able to settle in the top three and he should take it right up to Kerrigan Bale.

Zipping Midge recently won the Futurity here and she hasn't had much luck since. There is very little speed drawn on her outside so if she can step cleanly she should get a clear passage and that will help her confidence.

Whodat Knockin' rounds out the chances, he is better suited to a rails draw but he is in great form and Kerrigan Bale should bring him across early.
