Elusive Desire resumed from a month off and showed his true ability with an explosive 24.14 Lismore win. On that occasion he pinged the lids and reeled off brilliant sectionals, from the red draw he should be able to hold the lead and he will give them something to catch.

Hard Luck was a strong 30.31 winner here back in October and he likes to scout wide in his races. He can be a little slow to begin but he does muster speed quickly and he should put himself into contention as they head for the back straight.

Abby's Magic broke the 25 second barrier at Ipswich last time out and if she can handle the rise in distance she should make a big impact.

Don't Go Quietly rounds out the chances, he is well placed near the rails and he should be charging home at the end.

Victory Prince is the real deal and if he can step cleanly he should be running some time on the bunny. Two starts ago he put a space in a handy lineup at Ipswich when posting a brilliant 30.53 and prior to that he did set the track alight here over 395m when winning in 22.55. He has proven that he can handle the 500m journey and he looks a moral in this event.

Skipaway is aiming for a hat trick of wins and she should be in the mix for a long way, she is making her debut here but she is in good hands and I'm expecting her to have trialled here previously.

Waikarie Magic has a speedy 30.04 PB here and she looks well placed in the pink draw, she would need to lead and cross to win but that isn't beyond her.

Cyndie's Magic is unbeaten but she is facing her toughest test tonight, I think she may be a little under the odds so I would just include her in the exotics.

Jonathon's Hope showed a return to form at Ipswich last time out and tonight he returns to his favourite track. He is normally a reliable beginner and he should get a nice cart across from Ropeley Jet in the early stages. If he can reproduce his slick 30.08 PB here he should prove very hard to hold out.

Arctic Star can show smart early speed in her races and if she happens to cross she should give a bold showing, her last 50m isn't great but if they shuffle up behind her she may just steal the prize.

Fearless Ruler is making his debut here but he looked ultra impressive three runs back when winning at Ipswich in 30.59, if he handles the track he should be right in the mix.

Want A Thursday must be included in your exotics, she will likely get back early but she will come home quite solidly and can snag some minor money.

Grim Creeper is ideally placed out wide and he is much better than his recent form reads. He has been bombing the start of late at Ipswich but tonight he returns to his favourite track and I'm expecting him to begin a lot better. His sizzling 29.86 PB here is far superior to his rivals and a similar effort tonight would see him win with ease.

Hector Kahn comes here with solid NSW form and he has recently joined the powerful Glenda Dart kennel, he is normally a very good beginner and if he can cross early he should give a great sight.

All You Can has been placed in 15 of 28 here with three of those being victories. She too is a reliable beginner and she should be in the mix for a long way.

Tweed Chic is a super talent but she can be hard to follow, from the red she is likely to be under the odds but she is obviously a winning prospect.

You Say So has been racing in devastating fashion at Ipswich of late over the 431m journey and he should be reeling off sectionals. He has won six races over this trip previously so he can run out the trip and he appears to be a much faster chaser this time around.

Super Velo is an exciting prospect whose three wins here have all been in sub 30 seconds, he likes to scout wide in his races but my concern tonight is that there is a little bit of speed drawn underneath him.

Le Sirenuse was recently placed in the Ipswich Cup final and she should get a nice sit on You Say So in the early stages, if the red struggles in the final 50m she should be there to pounce.

Hougenie is perfectly placed in the wide draw and her effort to score at Ipswich last time in 30.56 was massive. She is likely to settle midfield tonight but she should stay wide and be out of trouble, she will be motoring in the last 150m and she should be able to pick them off late.

Miner's Moss hasn't had much luck of late and if he can step a little better tonight he should be able to regain some confidence. He has a slick 29.89 PB here and if he finds the bunny he should probably go a little quicker .

Kidatee Croc has won four of ten here and he should be able to settle in the top three early, three starts back he smashed a handy field when winning at Ipswich in a sizzling 30.42.

Gunspeed rounds out the winning hopes, he is probably better suited to a wider draw but he is racing well and with some luck early he could feature.

Chant is a class act when he is on song and he showed a return to form when narrowly beaten in blistering time at Ipswich last time. He has won here previously in a brilliant 29.84 and if he is given a little room in the early stages he should be able to hold them out and score.

Fusaichi Kahn is capable of reeling off very zippy sectionals when given clear galloping room and he is actually not that badly drawn in the middle, with a slow beginner on his outside and a keen railer on his inner, he should be afforded a very clear run early.

Farmer's Gold is racing in great fashion at present and although he is poorly drawn he must still be respected, he normally missed the kick and dives for the rail, if he misses away again he should get a fairly clear passage.

Melody Serenade is ideally placed in the pink and she must be included in your exotic bets.

Happy Haswell is an enormous talent and he recently won the Ipswich Cup final in a devastating 30.23. He has won seven of his ten tries here and if he reproduces his blistering 29.64 PB here he should blow them away.

Cyndie's Special is well placed in the pink and she has enough speed to cross them early, she has a tremendous record here and if she does happen to cross she will give a great sight at odds.

Bill's Fantasy is another fast beginner and he should be in the mix for a long way again.

Top Story is the interesting runner, he is resuming after five months off and, if he is at peak fitness, he is more than capable of matching motors with Happy Haswell.

Sonnet's Special is flying at present and if he gets away cleanly he should lead from go to whoa. In October/November he scored three Ipswich wins on the trot in fast times and he appears to have a few lengths on his rivals.

Flick Pass is the run on type in the event and he likes to scout wide in his races. His effort when placed at Ipswich last time was massive and a similar effort tonight would see him figure prominently.

Arabian Oracle has the speed to lead and she was a strong 30.09 winner here in October, if she happens to hold them out she should give a great sight.

Hope's Fantasy is the only other winning hope, she has a top record here and she is capable of pinging the lids.

Tough race to finish off the night but I think the in form Renatus can get the job done. Two starts ago he posted an impressive 30.52 Ipswich victory and after four luckless efforts here he is due for a change of luck. With very little speed drawn on his inside he should be able to cross and lead throughout.

This Time Reba is racing consistently and she has the speed to lead, if she happens to lead she will prove very hard to reel in.

Made That Way could be the value, he is much better than his recent form reads and he could give a nice sight at odds.
