Race 1 5TH GRADE 520m 6.41pm

Tough race to kick off tonight's card. Walk With Faith has an Thursday night win in her, but I doubt that will come tonight with Miner's Moss and Love Kills the standouts here. Miner's Moss has the early toe and should lead them up. Love Kills is an extremely talented type who's racing in superb fashion and each week he's finding a bit on the previous week. He ran down Miner's Moss two starts back and I see him doing the same tonight. Washington Trick won well last start and will be burning across from the outside early and can hold onto third.

Top Four: 3 – 2 – 7 – 1

Suggested Bet: Win bet on Love Kills

Trifecta: 3/2/1,7,8

Race 2 GOLD CUP HEAT 1 710m 6.58pm

Superstar Xylia Allen will start unbackable odds in this. Having broken five tracks records in her past six starts it's impossible to fault her form. Many will suggest she can break 's tonight, but I say she can't. It's a tough 710m and Dashing Corsair was an Albion Park specialist. Auriga Doll was a huge surprise last week, running second in fast time at her second attempt. If she get out and lobs in behind, she'll stick on and should further improve. Tweed Bah Day can't run the trip, so forget he's even going around, whilst Mullaway is talented and will pose a threat for second. Mepunga Tiara is racing superbly and will certainly be right there in the mix and Bralyn Casey can also fill a place, but generally needs slow pace in her races to show her best. If Xylia Allen gets them a long way off the bunny, Bralyn Casey is one who will continue to chase hard.

Top Four: 7 – 2 – 5 – 4

Suggested Bet:

First Four: 7/2,5/1,2,4,5/1,2,4,5

Race 3 GOLD CUP HEAT 2 710m 7.19pm

Heat two of the cup and a super tough affair. There is probably six winning chances from the seven starters and my on top pick is Born Ali. She's been working her back into form and although she hasn't seen the track I think she can lead and once in front they will struggle to catch her. Hougenie is starting to show she can stay and will be up and on the speed early. Set Her Again has a motor but is out of form at present. Infinite Wish is another Victorian raider with a hope if things go her way. It's a tough race so back your own judgement and best of luck.

Top Four: 7 – 4 – 1 – 2

Suggested Bet:

Trifecta: 4,7/1,4,7/1,2,4,7

Race 4 GOLD CUP HEAT 3 710m 7.41pm

Great race and one that I'm looking forward too. Tarks Nemesis is my on top selection, she's from Queensland and knows the track. A few starts ago she won a heat of the Futurity here over 520m and since then she has taken to staying like a duck to water. Wag Tail will be her main danger and it looks as if Golfing Amy will hold Wag Tail out initially and that will allow Tarks Nemesis to skip away. Tarks Nemesis is quicker then Wag Tail over 500, on par over 600 and hangs on over the last 110 just as well. So I can't see Wag a Tail beating her. Eleazar is as strong as they come, so expect her to rush home, whilst Golfing Amy is always a chance.

Top Four: 2 – 6 – 7 – 4

Suggested Bet: Win bet on Tarks Nemesis

Trifecta: 2,6/2,6/4,7

Race 5 FLYING AMY CLASSIC HEAT 1 520m 8.05pm

I'm not sure why but I'm going to with Farmer's Gold again! He's got a huge motor but keeps missing the start badly. Sooner or later he'll get it right. If he comes out with then he should just run right over the top. You Say So is a great beginner and should fire out to the early lead. Grand Roman is a talented chaser and will start to find form. Renatus was fantastic last week and looks a place hope in this.

Top Four: 7 – 2 – 4 – 6

Suggested Bet:

Trifecta: 2,4,7/2,4,7/2,3,4,6,7

Race 6 FLYING AMY CLASSIC HEAT 2 520m 8.25pm

Flash Reality simply wins again. He's too quick early, too fast mid race and too strong to the line. Zali Rose is in great form and can come out quickly and work her way across. Senor's Mistress should get a great cart across and looks a great place hope. King Elliot is racing in mixed form but he'll be coming hard at the end. Angvella is another with a hope but will look to head straight to the rail, and he may find trouble doing so.

Top Four: 3 – 7 – 6 – 2

Suggested Bet:

Trifecta: 3/2,6,7/2,6,7,8

Race 7 FLYING AMY CLASSIC HEAT 3 520m 8.44pm

You can't knock the form of Happy Haswell, but will he handle box one is the question. If he does he should rail through to win. My Fantaziya is certain to lead but the 520m trip is too far and she'll stop quickly. Give You Credit is likely to miss the early scramble and rail up rounding the first corner. Fancy Stitches is well boxed and can work her way around them. Iva Vision is a super young pup, so expect him to be there as they cross the line. Tough race with many scenarios so bet with caution.

Top Four: 1 – 3 – 8 – 7

Suggested Bet:

Trifecta: 1/3,7,8/3,5,7,8

Race 8 BEST 8 520m 9.08pm

Queensland's best chaser's line up here and Top Story should win again. He's won his last two and is only getting quicker since his return. Box two isn't ideal, but he'll likely have enough toe to clear a few here and work his way into clear space and once he does he should just win. Captain Clarrie is well boxed and will get a great run across. Honey Bouquet should get a soft run and Frosty Jay Jay is always around the mark. These best 8's are never easy, so bet with caution.

Top Four: 2 – 7 – 3 – 5

Suggested Bet:

Trifecta: 2,7/2,3,7/2,3,4,5,7

Race 9 4/5 GRADE 520m 9.28pm

Peter's Pick in box one is the best dog in the race but prefers it out wide. If he can slide through early he'll win. Chant is likely to ping and go but gets tired late. Winged Elite is a quality dog out of form, but it won't be long until he returns to his best. Cyndie's Special is a speedy type who loves racing here and always gives her best.

Top Four: 1 – 3 – 4 – 2

Suggested Bet:

Trifecta: 1/2,3,4/2,3,4

Race 10 4/5 GRADE 600m 9.52pm

Fawn Corsair is a serious young pup by Dashing Corsair and is unbeaten in six starts over the 600m trip. If he runs 700m, which it looks as if he should, we might see a staying star. He's got amazing track sense and last weeks run over 520m was a perfect example of it. He'll need to do things right again tonight, but he's certainly the on top pick. Aza Time bombed the start on Monday night but should get out and fly early. Premiers Reign was good last week and should perform again. Knave and Prince Harry look the best of the run on types.

Top Four: 8 – 5 – 2 – 6

Suggested Bet:

First Four: 8/2,5/2,4,5,6/2,4,5,6
