On recent form it's very hard to look past the classy and in form Elay Galaxy. He has been pinging the lids in recent weeks and after two top wins he was narrowly beaten here last week in strong company. From the red he should be able to push through and lead and if he holds them out I can't see anything reeling him in.

Allen Illem is never far away over this trip and he will be running on hard at the end, he is likely to settle back in the field but once he finds the rail he will make a strong move and he will prove very hard to hold out.

Woodside Jagger appears to be back to his best with a strong 30.05 win here two runs back, if he can step cleanly and turn in a similar effort he will prove extremely hard to hold out.

Mahalo is well placed in the pink draw and he comes here with solid Victorian form, he may need a look at the track but he is more than capable of being competitive here.

Tough race but I think we can find some value with Check Yo Self. She is well placed in the wide draw and she is normally a very reliable beginner. She is first up from a spell and she should be primed for a bold first up showing, she isn't overly strong but if she finds the bunny early she will prove very hard to reel in.

Irish Keepsake is another suited to the wide draw and she should be able to settle in the first half of the field, she can switch off in her races but if she can settle just behind the leader she should be there at the finish.

Miss Footluce hasn't had much luck in recent weeks and she should be suited by the drop in class, she is a bit one paced but if she can settle in the first half of the field she will be very strong in the run to the line.

Max Tyson rounds out the chances, he returned to form with a strong 22.88 Gawler win last time and he won't find an easier race in town.

Oran Bale is extremely consistent and if she can avoid bother at the first bend she should prove too strong for her rivals. In recent weeks she has recorded three very strong placings and all three have been in good time, her lack of early speed is always a concern but there is a fair bit of speed in this race so she should get enough room to balance up early.

Bianca Bale looks the likely leader and she should give a great sight. Three starts back she posted a strong 30.39 victory here and a similar performance tonight would see her figure in the finish.

Keller Bale is much better than his recent form reads and he will be steaming home at the end, he is poorly drawn out wide but if he can find the rail in the early stages he should be able to put himself into contention.

Timeless Diamond is also a must for the exotics, he rarely wins but he is never far away.

Nebula has struggled since resuming from a spell but he is much better than that and with a clean getaway tonight he should prove extremely hard to hold out. He has won 10 of 23 here and he finds himself in a race which lacks genuine early speed, he should be able to settle in the top two early and he will be able to regain some confidence with clear running.

Here's Hannibal comes here with fairly strong Victorian form and if he handles the track he should figure quite prominently, he can be a little slow to begin at times but he does muster speed well and he should put himself into contention at the first bend.

Breaker Kahn is another who is dropping in class but he would be better suited to a rails draw, if he can avoid early bother he should play a major role.

Velocity Daff could be the value, she is better than her form reads and this race isn't overly strong.

Boojerooma has scored four scintillating wins here of late and with an ounce of luck early she should score again. Her latest victory was in a blistering 29.61 and there isn't a single competitor in this event that could get within six lengths of that run. She will be short odds so it's probably best just to anchor her up front in your exotic bets.

Excusez Moi is well drawn out wide and she has been racing in consistent style of late, she has slow beginners drawn on either side so with a clean getaway she should get plenty of room to muster through at the first bend.

Margaret Keeping has the speed to lead and she should give a great sight at odds, I dont think she can hold them out at the end but she is a great place prospect.

Cuddletime Tears has won two of three here recently and she will be very strong in the run to the line.

Good race which features an abundance of early speed, I know he is going to have to ping to get across but I think Black Bottle has the speed to do so and he should get a nice cart across from Chemical Maker in the early stages. He has a great record here and he likes to scout wide in his races, so he should get every chance in this event.

Woodnear has returned to racing in explosive style with two great wins here over 388m. From the red he should be able to settle in the top two early and if he does hold them out he will prove extremely hard to reel in.

Squall Bale is the run on type in the event, he should get a nice sit just behind them and he will be running home over the top late, I dont think he will win but he might be a great anchor for second and third in your exotics.

Chemical Maker rounds out the chances, he loves racing here and he is racing in consistent style at present.

Taser Mcbain is a faultless beginner and she has been racing well in much stronger company of late. From the pink she should be able to carve across to the early lead at the first turn and she should be able to get away off the back straight, her last 50m isn't strong but she should have built up a big enough lead mid race.

Coorong Kid was enormous in his 29.97 heat win and with a clear run early he will take a power of beating. If he had drawn better he would have been my top pick but from the middle he is going to need a few things to go his way early.

Dyna Motley powered to the line in his top 29.86 heat win and he will be steaming home again. He got to the front pretty early in his heat and I can't see that happening tonight, he is obviously a winning chance again tonight but he will need some luck in running.

Fraya Bale rounds out the chances, she is drawn to settle in the top two or three early and she shouldn't be too far away at the end.

Alderley Reform hasn't had much luck in recent weeks but he has won 12 of 18 over this journey and if he can step on terms he should be able to settle in the top three early and he should then prove too strong in the run home. There is a little concern with some wide runners drawn underneath but I think he has the speed to clear them.

Spicy Peppa has won nine of 18 here and she has the speed to hold them out early, she was a tad disappointing in her heat but I would expect her to show big improvement tonight.

Young Gun Mcbain is never far away over this journey and he should be in the mix for a long way, he scored a top 30 flat heat win and a repeat of that effort will see him feature.

Dyna Drama could be the value, she is well drawn out wide and she will be very strong in the run to the line.

Beach Wary is flying at present and he is drawn to get all the breaks. Last time out he scored a strong 35.26 victory here and on that occasion he had to overcome some early difficulties. From the red he should hold them out easily and I would expect him to get under the 35 second mark tonight.

He's A Villian turned in a great effort when placed behind Beach Wary here last week and he should be a major player again. He will need a few things to go his way early but if he can settle in the top three early he will be very strong in the run to the line.

Allen Nemo is a strong type and he has been racing well here of late, he will need some luck to get across from the wide draw but he has a keen railer underneath so he should get a fairly clear passage early.

Lanny Bale is much better than his recent form reads and he should be too strong for his rivals here, Four starts back he powered to the line in his 30.75 win here, the time wasn't flashy but the manner in which he won was extremely impressive. He should be able to lob onto the rail in the early stages and he should then make a strong move mid race, if he is near the lead as they turn for home they will have trouble holding them out.

Bakmar Miss led for a long way when placed here last week and she should give a great sight again. There isn't a lot of speed drawn underneath so she should get across again and she appears to be getting stronger with every run.

Kingda Kahn can show speed in his races and he should settle in the top three early, he looked a little lost in his placing here last week so he should be much better for the run.

Montgomery Road is a must for your exotic bets, he powers to the line in his races and he is dropping a little in class tonight.

Tough race to finish but if Danyo's Dabby can come out like he did on Monday night when breaking the 30 flat barrier, he should take a power of beating. His form prior to that run was just average but he did turn in a couple of performances which suggested that he was capable of that type of run.

Alex Tyson is pinging the lids at present and he is aiming for a hat trick of wins after two great Gawler wins, if he can step cleanly again he should figure prominently throughout the event.

Rexroth is the interesting runner, he has always had a heap of talent and he has turned in two solid efforts since coming to SA, he is well drawn out wide and he should run a big race.

Red Line Lad is dropping in class and if he doesn't get posted wide early he should be there at the end.
