Tough race to kick off the night but if Barnes Bay can get away cleanly he should be able to make every post a winner. Last time out he resumed after a month off and he showed a tremendous turn of foot mid race before getting a little tired in the home straight, he will be much better for the run and he should hit the line a lot better tonight.

Spring Charlotte is well placed in the wide draw and she is much better than her recent form suggests, with a slow beginner on her outside she should get all the breaks as they head into the first bend.

Allen Zentax recorded a strong placing here two runs back and he has been showing smart early speed since coming from Victoria, this is the easiest race he has contested for a while and he may cause a boil over.

Witch Bale is going to be well fancied and she must be included in your exotic bets, she is likely to get shuffled back early but she will hit the line solidly.

Long Gully Mark has been airborne of late and from the red he should be afforded all the breaks in the early stages. Last time out he overcame a lot of bother to score in 30.23 and with the lack of early speed in tonight's event he should be able to settle a lot closer to the speed.

Margaret Keeping should roll to the early lead and she will give a great sight, she is getting stronger with every run and she should get a fairly cheap lead in this event.

Parsec Bale was desperately unlucky here last week and she will be suited by the wide draw, she lacks early speed but she will be powering to the line.

Oran Bale is another run on type and she was racing in great form here in December, she will need some luck in running but if she gets it she will be there at the end.

Top Four: 1 – 4 – 8 – 7

Funky Chicken has had no luck in his two recent efforts here and he should be suited by the rails draw. He isn't the best beginner but he does muster speed quickly and with a clear run he should be able to settle in the top three as they head for the back straight.

Spring Tyson is another who has been racing without luck and she has the capable of pinging the lids, there is no speed drawn around her tonight so if she can step away she should be able to drive to the early lead and give them something to catch.

Woodside Jagger is more than capable on his night and he just needs a good getaway to put himself into contention, he is very hard to follow but he could be the value bet if he goes around at silly odds.

Asuka Bale has the good draw and she has been racing in consistent fashion, include her in your exotic bets.

Good race and the classy Luna Jinx looks well placed in the pink draw, she didn't have much luck at The Meadows last time but three runs back she did post a sizzling 43.27 win here when beating a similar lineup to what she meets tonight. She will need a few things to go her way early but she should have enough pace to settle in the first half of the field and she will be very strong in the run home.

Psychotic Gold charged home to score here on Monday night in a solid 43.55 and a repeat of that effort would see her figure prominently. She tends to miss the kick but she does have great track sense and she has won 12 of 23 over this trip.

Zara Mclaren is absolutely flying at present and she should get every chance from the red draw, two runs back she destroyed the same type of field when posting a blistering 43.12.

Mclaren Grace rounds out the place prospects, she will drop out early but she is quite strong and she can sneak into third spot.

Gun Mcbain is racing in dazzling form at present and he has continued to get stronger and stronger with every run. Three starts back he posted a scorching 29.73 win over this journey and a repeat of that would see him win with ease again. There is very little speed drawn around him so he should get every chance to cross in the early stages.

Black Bottle should match motors with Gun Mcbain for most of the trip and he looks likely to fill the quinella spot, he isn't overly strong but I'm expecting the two of them to build up a nice lead mid race.

He's A Villian is extremely consistent and he will be charging home at the end, three starts back he steamed home to score in 30.18 and that type of effort would see him threaten again.

Allen Odin has the good draw and he was far from disgraced when placed on Monday, he appears to be slowly regaining his confidence so he must be respected.

Excusez Moi has excelled since coming across from QLD and her last start placing here was super impressive. The wide draw should suit tonight as she likes to track wide through the turns and with the zippy Gunsmoke Mcbain drawn in box six she should get a nice cart into the first turn. Farmeroo is going to start short and he has the good draw, but Excusez Moi has the good draw and she could be the value.

Farmeroo bombed the start last time out and he should turn in an improved performance, three starts back he pinged to the early lead and posted a slick 29.91 victory here, that type of effort would see him take a power of beating.

Aeroplane Bowser is armed with a monster finish and he has been racing extremely well, he might get too far back early to win but he is a must for the exotics.

Tough race but Kalden Kostello has the rails draw and he should have enough speed to hold them out at the first turn. He is much better than his recent form reads and he does have a solid 30 flat PB here, if he can find the bunny early he is probably capable of going sub 30.

Beach Wary set the track alight here recently when winning over 600m in a slick 35.08, he is probably better suited to a longer trip but he is still capable of being competitive over this journey.

Chemical Maker returned to form with a smart 30.10 win here and a similar effort tonight would see him figure prominently throughout.

Black Daddy is another in form runner and he was placed behind a gun chaser here last week, he is going to need some luck in the early stages but he is very strong and he does possess great mid race pace.

Great race and if the exciting Dakota Premier can step cleanly he should take a power of beating. He has won two of his past three starts here in explosive fashion and on both occasions he has pinged the lids and reeled off brilliant sectionals. He will need some room in the early stages but if he gets it he should make light work of this lineup.

Cash In Looper is a super talent and he should be suited by the wide draw, the only concern with him is that there is a fair bit of speed drawn on his outside, he should run cover for the yellow and he could be the value bet if he goes around at silly odds.

Alderley Reform has won four on the trot and 12 of 15 overall here, he is obviously a chance again but I'm a little concerned he may be posted wide for most of the trip.

Dr. Kiaralee has the good draw and she has the speed to hold them out, I dont think she can win but she is a must for your exotic bets.

Freesia Bale has been racing in consistent style of late and she is due for a change of luck, she showed great mid race pace in her last start placing over this trip and she should be much better for the run. The empty draw on her outside is a big advantage and this race appears to lack a fair bit of depth.

Miss Party Girl looks the likely leader and she is never far away over this trip, she tends to lose a lot of ground through the turns but she is very strong in the run home.

Allen Nemo should appreciate the rise in distance and from the red he might be able to settle a little closer to the early lead.

Victa Victoria loves racing over this trip and she must be included in your exotic bets, she doesn't win very often these days but she is never far away.

Destiny Bale has excelled since coming from Victoria and her effort to score here on Monday after missing the kick was eye catching. I'm expecting her to begin a lot better tonight and she should roll to the early lead and she is capable of going sub 30 seconds on the bunny.

Hersi is much better than his form reads and he should follow Destiny Bale across in the early stages, he can be hit or miss early but with a couple of slow beginners on his outside he should get every chance to drive through at the first bend.

Hazerati has the good draw and he turned in a strong effort when placed here two runs back, I dont think he can win but he is a must for your exotic bets.

Thor Bale is a strong Victorian chaser and he must be respected in his SA debut, he is dropping back in distance so place claims may be preferred.

Good race to finish and I think the favourable rails draw for Fraya Bale should see her get the cash. On Monday night she showed her customary early speed before scoring in a zippy 30.13 and she should be able to find at least a length on that effort as it was her first 500m run for six weeks.

Long Gully Magic is an exciting prospect and he went sub 30 when winning here last week. He will be suited by the wide draw and he has a slow beginner drawn underneath and a wide runner on his outer, so he should get a clear passage in the early stages.

Miss Footluce has been placed in her past seven starts here and she must be included in your exotic bets again.
