Margaret Keeping returned to her best here last week when scoring in a slick 29.96 and her middle section was extremely impressive. She is normally a very reliable beginner and with a clean getaway she would have enough speed to hold them out at the first bend and if she does she will prove hard to reel in.
Mr. Leonardo is another on speed chaser and he too is racing quite well, last time out he led until the shadows of the post in much stronger company and he should appreciate the drop in class tonight.
Elay Galaxy has been placed in five of his six starts in SA with one of those being an impressive victory, he is drawn to get a nice cart across from the six and if he can settle in the top three he should be there at the end.
Freesia Bale is the run on type in the event, she should be suited to the wide draw and she is never far away in this type of company.
Top Four: 3 – 6 – 7 – 8
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Margaret Keeping with William Hill

Psychotic Gold is the state's premier stayer and her effort in the Zoom Top when placed two runs back was extremely impressive. Tonight she drops back in class and she will be suited by the smaller field. From the red she should balance up in around third or fourth and she will then make a strong move mid race, with a clear run she should win by at least six lengths.
Zara Mclaren returned to form with a strong 43.61 win here last week and like the red, she is suited to the smaller field. She has a little more early dash than the red but she won't be able to go with her mid race.
Wynburn Blaze is a talented Tasmanian chaser and he must be respected in his SA debut, he is armed with a fair bit of early speed and he should be able to settle in the top two early.
Ella Jacqui rounds out the chances, she has been racing in consistent fashion and she is quite strong in the run to the line.
Top Four: 1 – 8 – 4 – 5
Suggested Bets:
Quinella: 1 to rove with 4 & 8 ($2 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,8/1,4,5,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1/4,5,8/4,5,8 ($6 for 100%)

Ash Flash is a gun WA stayer and she was a recent finalist in the Group One WA Galaxy. She is better suited to a wider draw but this race doesn't feature a lot of early speed and that should allow her to get out into some open space mid race. She has joined the powerful Murray kennel and she should be primed for a bold showing.
Grifter Bale has excelled since coming to SA and he should lead them a merry dance. He is better suited to the 600m trip but he has been placed in his three runs over this journey with one of those efforts being a win.
Dyna Arceus is a very consistent type and he has the speed to cross or at least sit just behind the red in the early stages, he isn't as strong as the top two picks but he has the talent to hold on for a place.
Sunday Sess was solidly placed in her SA debut last week and she must be respected again.
Top Four: 3 – 1 – 6 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Ash Flash with William Hill
Quinella: 3 to rove with 1,2,6 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 3/1,2,6/Field ($15 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,3/1,2,3,6 ($6 for 100%)
1st: $1,645 2nd: $470 3rd: $235.

Essay Spok has excelled since moving from NSW and from the red she appears to be a good bet tonight. She is armed with smart early speed and last week she showed her strength when coming from off the speed to score. Tonight she has a wide runner and slow beginner drawn directly on her outside so she should be afforded all the breaks in the run to the first turn.
Lanny Bale has been in good form without winning of late and he appears suitably drawn near the inside. He is likely to miss the kick but that will play into his favour as it will allow him to find the rail without too much bother. He will need some luck mid race but if the gaps open at the right time he will be steaming home at the end.
Long Gully Mark probably has the class edge and he is obviously a chance, however I think place chances appear best, he is likely to trail them early and he may get shuffled back further as he tries to get wide and into some open space.
Dakota Ruby has tremendous talent and with a clear run she is a major chance, my concern with her though is that she has speed drawn all around her and she can bomb the start at times.
Top Four: 1 – 3 – 2 – 6
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Essay Spok with William Hill
Boxed Quinella: 1,2,3,6 ($6 for 100%)

Great race and I'm going to go with a bit of strength in Mobius. This lightly raced but highly talented chaser is first up from a spell and he appears drawn to get all the breaks. With the early speed drawn in boxes one, two, four and five, he should be able to lob onto the rail and as they bunch up mid race he should be able to drive through into a threatening position. He is capable of running time when given a clear run and if he is fit he really does look the goods.
Blurred Lines has struggled in his two SA runs but he is much better than that and he should be able to lead for a long way, especially with Spicey Peppa running some cover for him at the first bend. Earlier in his career he did post a slick 29.75 victory here and if he can reproduce that type of effort he will give them something to catch.
Kalden Balerion is suited to a wide draw and he is better than his past couple of runs, from the pink he should get a clear passage in the first 50m and if he settles in the top three he will be right there at the end.
Top Four: 3 – 1 – 8 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Mobius with William Hill
Quinella: 3 to rove with 1,2,8 ($3 for 100%)

Coorong Kid is flying at present and if he can avoid bother at the first turn he will prove hard to hold out. This race features quite a few front runners and if he can settle just off the speed he might prove too strong for them in the run home.
Kalden Kapone is another who is in rare form and if he pings the lids like he has done in four of his past five starts he will prove hard to reel in, my only concern with him is that he does find himself in a race which has a lot more speed than he has been meeting, however he does have the speed to burn them off.
Galilee Spirit could be the value, he was massive last time out when beaten and he has the ability to ping the lids at times, if he goes around at silly odds he could be the value bet.
Boojerooma rounds out the chances, she has a tremendous record here and if she finds the lure early she will be running some serious time.
Top Four: 8 – 4 – 7 – 6
Suggested Bets:
Win bets on Coorong Kid and Galilee Spirit with William Hill
Exacta: 4,8/4,6,7,8 ($6 for 100%)

Van Carrho Flash can be frustrating at times but tonight he finds himself in a race which lacks speed and that should allow him to get across at the first bend even if he does miss away. He possesses an amazing turn of foot soon after box rise and last time out he showed his strength when coming from off the speed to record a brilliant 30.56 at Gawler.
Rum Punch is ideally placed in the red draw and he has broken the 30 second barrier here, he has the speed to hold them out or at worst settle in the top two and if he does I can't see him missing a place.
Regal Looper was back to his best with a strong 30.70 Gawler win and tonight he returns to his favourite track, he will need some luck in the first 50m but if he gets it he should be fighting out the finish.
Wowza Lee could be the value, he can show early speed and his form is better than it appears.
Top Four: 8 – 1 – 2 – 7
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Van Carrho Flash with William Hill
Trifecta: 8/1,2,7/1,2,4,7 ($9 for 100%)

Very open affair and I've decided to go with the in form Woodnear. Prior to his two recent placings here, he had strung together three impressive wins and with a good getaway tonight he can return to the winners list. In recent weeks he has had to work overtime in the early stages and he has been a sitting duck for the swoopers, tonight I'm expecting him to zip away mid race and he should steal the event.
Blue Viper has tremendous talent and she has won six of 13 over this journey, last time out she was narrowly beaten in blistering time and if she gets a clear run in the first 50m she will take a power of beating.
Lannister is super consistent and he is drawn to be in the mix for most of the journey, he can tend to switch off in his races but if he remains focused he should be thereabouts.
Dodger I Am is well drawn out wide and with a slow beginner on his outside he should get a clear passage in the first 50m, he has a great record here and he is just as good as any runner talent wise in this event.
Top Four: 2 – 4 – 1 – 7
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Woodnear with William Hill
Exacta: 2,4/1,2,4,7 ($6 for 100%)

Alderley Reform was desperately unlucky here on Monday night and from the red he should be able to atone for that effort. Last time out he was about to cross and lead before he was dragged down, from the red he should be able to push through and hold them out and I can't see them getting near him if he leads them up.
Nebula has a great record here and he was a strong 30.37 winner here three runs back, he will need some luck early but there is no speed around him and if he can settle in the top three he will make an impact.
He's A Villian is flying at present and he will be charging home at the end, he is better suited to a longer journey but he is going too well to ignore.
Witch Bale rounds out the chances, she doesn't win very often these days but she is never far away.
Top Four: 1 – 4 – 6 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Trifecta: 1/3,4,6/Field ($18 for 100%)
Exacta: 1/3,4,6 ($3 for 100%)

Kalina Allen has won three of her past four starts in explosive fashion and she looks well graded in this event. She is normally a very reliable beginner and if she finds the early lead I can't see them getting near her as she will be running sub 30 seconds.
Dyna Erwin was far from disgraced when placed here last week behind the talented Big Zap and from the red he should figure prominently. He doesn't win very often these days but he won't get a better chance to win than tonight.
Sporting Tears didn't have much luck when resuming from a spell last time and I'm expecting an improved effort tonight, from the pink he should get plenty of room to muster speed and if he can settle in the top two or three early he should figure in the placings.
Top Four: 5 – 1 – 8 – 6
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Kalina Allen with William Hill
Boxed Quinella: 1,5,6,8 ($6 for 100%)

Woodside Jagger has turned in some fantastic efforts in recent weeks and from the red he should be able to get the cash. Edgy Bale should run some cover for him early and he has proven in the past that he is very hard to get past when he finds the lure.
Sound Effort is much better than his recent form suggests and this is a drop in class for him, if he can step away cleanly he should be afforded a clear run early and that will allow him to show his best.
Oran Bale is the run on type in the event, she has been placed in her past six starts here and she could be a good anchor for second and third in your exotic bets.
Red Line Lad rounds out the chances, he was a strong 30.04 winner here three runs back and a repeat of that form will see him figure prominently.
Top Four: 1 – 5 – 7 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Woodside Jagger with William Hill

Tough race to finish the night but if Kingda Kahn can step on terms he should get a nice cart across early and he will prove hard to hold out. He has a keen railer drawn directly underneath and four starts back he did score an impressive 30.11 win here.
Koko Cabana is a must for your exotics, I dont think she can win but she is a run on type and she is a good anchor for second and third in your exotic bets.
Physical Road has the speed to cross and he has recorded two solid placings here of late.
Astaire has been a tad disappointing of late but she is better than that and if she is given a clear run she should show a return to form.
Top Four: 8 – 6 – 7 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Kingda Kahn with William Hill
