Very open race to start the night and I've decided to go with in form Not Held. He has now had four runs since a long spell and he has continued to get better and stronger with every run. From the two he should be able to find the rail in the early stages and he should have the speed to hold out the outside division. He will be around the $4.50 mark with William Hill and that appears to be great value.

Victa Brooke is well drawn out wide and she has been racing in very consistent style, she isn't explosive early but she does have enough speed to settle in the top three or four early.

Spicy Peppa was extremely unlucky here last week in a similar linuep and she will be looking to make amends. She is normally a very reliable beginner and with a clean getaway she should settle on the outside of Not Held in the early stages. She is quite strong in the run home so she should be able to make an impact if she does avoid early bother.

Lucky Road has claims, he should be each way odds and he has excelled since coming across from NSW.

Dyna Wendy is ultra consistent having been placed in her past five starts here and she looks well placed in the pink draw. There isn't a whole lot of speed drawn underneath so I think she should be able to get across and assume control at the first bend. She clearly isn't the best chaser in the race but this really looks a winnable race for her and she will be each way odds.

Costa Kahn has the good draw and he should be in the mix for a long way. He hasn't been great since returning from a spell but he did show improvement last time out and he is drawn to be in the mix for a long way.

Jeddy Bale caught the eye with a slick 30.10 win here when making her SA debut two runs back. She can be a little hit or miss early but if she does step away she will prove hard to hold out.

Ilys Bale is highly talented on her night but she can lose focus quite easily, I dont think she can win tonight but she can run home into the placings.

Allen Warlock is making his middle distance debut but he is drawn to hold the early lead and I think the distance will actually suit him. He has hit the line very well over the 515-metres journey of late but he has also shown good early speed in some of his SA runs. There are a couple of handy ones in this event so he should be around the $4.50 mark and that looks a great bet.

Lochinvar Akira is capable of reeling off ridiculous sectionals when given a clear run and she is very strong in the run home. The box draw isn't great but she does have a wide runner drawn on her outside so she should be afforded a fairly clear passage early on.

He's A Villian is a specialist over this journey and if he can get across in the early stages he will take some stopping. Last time out he posted a slick 35.11 win here from this draw but there were only five runners, so he had less traffic.

Ash Flash could add some value to your exotics, she will trail them early but she does work home nicely and she has been placed in her three tries over this trip.

Footluce Diva appears to be back to her brilliant best and with a clean getaway she should be able to lead throughout. She has won her past three here in explosive fashion and last time out she put the time on the board when posting a blistering 34.92. There is very little speed drawn around her so she should get all the breaks in the run to the first bend.

Winbrook is making his middle distance debut but he gives every indication that this distance range will suit. He should show a little more early dash tonight so that should see him settle in the top three early, if he can get out into some open spaces he should put the acid test to the yellow in the middle stages.

Freesia Bale is super consistent and she should be in the firing line for most of the trip, this is clearly her toughest test to date but she should be up to the challenge.

Allen Gundam could add some value to your exotics, he will get a long way back early but he does power home and he could be a good anchor for third and fourth.

Another very open race and I've given the edge to the red. Supersonic Hawk has been placed in his five SA starts and four of those have been over this journey. I'm expecting the two to lead early but he will move up the track through the corners and that should allow him to drive through and assume control mid race. He is quite strong and this really does look his race.

Grifter Bale is all class and he needs to be respected, he has won four of seven over this journey and he owns a blistering 34.85 PB. With a clear run he will prove too strong, however he does like to get wide in his races and he will need luck in the early stages.

Coorong Kid is a gifted chaser on his night and with some luck in the first 50-metres he could make an impact. He tends to make some mistakes early in his races but if he goes around at silly odds he could be worth a saver bet.

Young Gun Mcbain is a must for your exotic bets, he is the likely leader and he should give a great sight.

Peejay Jack has come up with the good draw and with a clean getaway he should get the cash. Taser Mcbain is expected to lead them but she tends to scout extremely wide and that should allow him to push through mid race and assume control. He has broken the 30 second barrier here previously and he should prove too strong.

Astronomic is the most talented chaser in the event and if he steps away he should make a big impact. The concern with him is that he can bomb the start at times and he will be looking for the rail, with the wide running Taser Mcbain drawn directly underneath he may experience a few difficulties.

Viral Bale is the run on type in the event, he has been placed in eight of 14 here and he could be a great anchor for third and fourth in your exotic bets.

Hector Kahn has nuisance value, he is armed with early speed and if he crosses the red early he could give a cheeky sight.

Alderley Reform has an amazing record here having won 20 of 32, he isn't the greatest of beginners but he does tend to step a lot better from the red and he should be able to balance up in the top three or four early. He is extremely strong in the run home and this really does look to be his race.

Barnes Bay is armed with a dazzling turn of foot and he has been racing in great form of late, three starts back he won here from a wide draw in a blistering 29.65 and a repeat performance will see him prove hard to reel in.

Gun Mcbain is another with a great record here, he has won 18 times over this journey and he has the speed to get across. The only concern is that there is a fair bit of speed in the middle so he will need to do everything right in the early stages.

Margaret Keeping could add some value, she can show great early speed in her races and if she holds out the outside division she could hang on for some minor money.

Long Gully Stevie looks ideally placed in the pink draw tonight and with a clean getaway she should give them something to catch. There isn't a whole lot of early speed engaged in this event so she should have no trouble crossing in the early stages and she only went down narrowly in her heat last week, they did go quite quick in that event.

Mrs Bubbles should come across with the pink in the early stages and there shouldn't be much between them for most of the journey. I don't think she can reel the pink in but she should hang on for the quinella spot.

Lucy Fergo is a strong type and she must be included in your exotics, she is suited to the rails draw and she could add some value to your exotic bets.

Aussie Noorumba scored a brilliant heat win last week in 29.84 and a repeat performance will see him figure prominently, however he can make mistakes early and he is likely to be under the odds.

Yiche is dropping considerably in class tonight and if she can get away cleanly she should be able to make every post a winner. There is quite a bit of speed drawn in seven but she should be able to outpace him once they hit the ground. She has proven to be a very hard chaser to get past when she can lead and she looks a great bet in this event.

Allen Hodney has been racing well in stronger company here of late and he could be the danger at odds. He is suited to the rails draw and if he can settle just behind Yiche in the early stages he should make it interesting.

Kalden Legenda has been racing in brilliant fashion and he should be in the mix for a long way, he is faultless early but he will need to do everything right to cross Yiche early.

Victa Scott rounds out the chances, he is drawn poorly but he can ping away and if he somehow gets to the outside without too much trouble he should run a big race.

Point Made has been racing in great style of late having been placed in three of his past four here. He has been taking on some strong company and he should appreciate the drop in class tonight. He generally steps well so he should balance up in the top three early and he should prove too strong in the run home.

Lanny Bale is a strong chaser and the rails draw should suit, I think he will get too far back to score but he could be a good anchor for second and third in your exotics.

Cash In Looper is a class act and with a clear passage he can feature, however his box manners aren't great and he will be desperately looking to get to the outside.

Christie's Boy continues to improve and he looked impressive when posting an all the way win here last week in 30.24. From the red draw he should have the speed to hold them out and he is a hard chaser to get past when on the lure.

Brett's Magic has scored two top wins here in recent months and with some luck in the first 50-metres he should be right in the finish. He can it miss away at times but he is quite strong in the run home.

All Silver is dropping in class and she must be respected, she is better suited to the inside but she can show early speed at times.

Yarramundi Hanna could be the value, she is drawn to get the gun run and she does hit the line solidly.
