Race 5: One A Drifter
Once A Drifter is stepping up to the middle distance for the first time but he has turned in some terrific performances of late and he gives every indication that this distance range will suit. He isn't the best of beginners but he does muster speed very quickly and with the wide running Zipping Spike drawn on his outside he should get every chance to push through into a prominent spot. You might be able to snag even money with William Hill and that is a great bet.

Race 7: With A Gee
I've included this chaser in my multi for the place but I think he is a genuine chance of winning at nice odds. I'm expecting there to be a fair bit of shuffling up at the first bend and if he can drop out in the early stages he should be able to get a saloon passage through. He is extremely strong in the run home and he has a great record here, he is definitely worth an each way ticket.

Race 11: Hawka Tron
Hawka Tron has a fantastic record on the provincial circuit and with an even getaway tonight he should prove too good for his rivals. He meets a couple of handy ones in this event so you might be able to get $3 or better and that is well over the odds. He normally steps on terms but his biggest asset is his turn of foot, so if he steps on terms he should drive to the early lead and then dash away mid race.

Espanyol is an exciting prospect and he has scored some brilliant wins in his brief career to date, he should step cleanly and lead throughout. Teahupoo Hero is drawn to settle just behind the speed for most of the trip and he shouldn't be too far away, whilst Britt's Pick is highly talented on her night and with some luck in running she could add some value to the quinella dividend.
