Here is a look at the ten runners from box one tonight and how ARG sees their chances;

Race 1 – Feedback Icon (Patrick Wood) – With the original box one runner Phoeno Quoted scratched, Feedback Icon moves to box one. Given her abysmal record of 21 starts for no wins and just one placing, it is fair to say you would be best served keeping the cash in the old sky rocket for this one. It will be lucky to finish before they jump for race two.

Race 2 – Cyclone Simone () – This race is much more up our alley in terms of being bet worthy. Astute trainer Majella Ferguson rugs up the classy Cyclone Simone for her first look at the Dapto track. She has won 11 of her 26 starts and is a flying machine when she lobs on the bunny. She has won one of her two starts from box one and returns from a trip to Western Australia for this. She should go very close.

Race 3 – Mr Dynamo (Harry Sarkis) – A relatively young dog who faces a moderate field here. He is sure to be fit for the 520 metre trip under the guidance of Harry Sarkis. Has every chance from box one and warrants strong consideration based on his 400 metre efforts.

Race 4 – Black Twitter (Seymour Vassilakis) – Race four provides us with not only a good name bet for the social buffs among us, but also a very solid chance. She has been placed in three of her seven outings and comes up against seven dogs that have had 105 combined starts without a win. This is her first start from box one and given her early zip he has no excuses not to take this one out.

Race 5 – Winning Charm () – This race provides us with one that could be at value. Early markets show her at around the 5/1 mark and she loves the rails alley. What's more, she has a wide runner drawn next to her who may provide her with a saloon passage. She is definitely some sort of hope.

Race 6 – Daisy's Reward (Mary Spiteri) – Race six might be time to go and make a cup of tea or scoff down on a hot meat pie, with Daisy's Reward needing a miracle to win in the first heat of the the Dapto Oaks. She has had 91 career starts for just seven victories and has only won one from 12 at Dapto. I'd sit this one out.

Race 7 – Crash Model (Keith Waddington) – This very handy bitch begins well and has a great record from box one. She has never missed a place in seven starts from the cherry but runs into some hot opposition in this one including holder Double Twist. Crash Model has been freshened for this but will need luck to win.

Race 8 – King Odessa () – This guy simply loves Dapto and box one. He has won two from three at the track and never missed a placing from three starts out of the red. He meets the strong finishing Blue's Revival here, but will be benefitted by the wide runner drawn in box two. He is capable of featuring.

Race 9 – Go Ginger Go (Gary Adams) – This bitch has looked sort of distance will suit her for a while now. Being her first 600 metre race she could find herself handier than the sprints and benefit greatly from it. It is a tricky race but she is not without hope at each way odds.

Race 10 – Hayville Charlee (William Bates) – A run on type who has only had three starts in the past two months. She was placed in her only start from box one but comes up against some promising pups drawn in the wider boxes. If she can get a passage through, she will be running on.

Best Bets: Race 2 and Race 4
