Centrebet Box One Bonus At Dapto Provides Plenty Of Value

With Centrebet running a superb promotion that gives punters a massive 25% bonus on any number one dog at Dapto tonight, ARG though we would take a brief look at the hopes of each runner to exit the coveted cherry alley at the iconic circuit on the South Coast of New South Wales.

Sign up with the link above and use the Code ARG11 to be eligible for future exclusive greyhound based promotions.

Bearing in mind that more dogs win from box one than any other box, it is a tremendous promotion.

Here is a look at the dog sporting the red rug in each race at tonight;

Race 1 – Benji Backflip – John Little – Things are not easy to begin with when the first runner of the evening is a first starter in a maiden race. But it is not all doom and gloom. The John Little trained bitch had a performance trial at the track last week and ran a moderate 30.66 and the bulk of her opposition here are average at best. Some have been around more times than the and are yet to salute the judge, for example Amarina Only (7) is a 91-start maiden. The main challengers look to be boxes two and eight but she has her chance.

Race 2 – Sidestepper – John Aul – Another maiden event with a dog in box one that is yet to fill a placing in three outings. He does get the advantage of a small field here with only six greyhounds engaged but he will need to go well to beat box six in this one.

Race 3 – Midnight Ripple – Peter Sims – This looks one of the better races on which to invest. The regally bred Midnight Ripple ( – Midnight Movie) graduates to middle distance racing and is drawn to lead all the way. He has broken the 30-second barrier at twice in his last three starts and that should be good enough to be going very close to winning this one.

Race 4 – How's It Rude – Seymour Vassilakis – Punters get another good opportunity to pick up an extra 25% cash when How's It Rude jumps out as favourite in this maiden final. She showed a plethora of early speed to lead all the way and land her heat in 30.05. a repeat of that will see her winning again tonight.

Race 5 – Zero For Dino – John Aul – Another runner in the red for John Aul in the fifth and he is not without a hope either. He stepped up from short track racing last start to the 520 metres at Wentworth Park and won in a fair 30.32. He has to contend with a speedy beginner next door and is having his first look at the track and trip. Take this guy on trust.

Race 6 – Droopy's Bay – Janel Erwin – Race six sees a quick beginner in box one who is very capable of leading but will need to if he is to be any chance. He has gone 30.03 at Dapto in the past but faces some pretty handy dogs in this race. He is a $21 chance and rightly so, his only hope is leading and praying for trouble behind him.

Race 7 – Capriati – On the tricky bend start over 600 metres at Dapto, box one is worth its weight in gold and if Capriati can utilise it to her advantage she will be winning in straight sets. She faces a stiff challenge from boxes three, four and six and will need to run up to her best to win. She looks value at around $8.00.

Race 8 – Tough – Clifford Bell – On his best times, this dog is a red hot chance from the rails alley. The only concern is his recent form which includes two sevenths in his last three starts. He will get his chance to rail under them and pinch this race from the good draw. The 25% might make his price attractive enough to invest.

Race 9 – Stryking Tina – Tony Pagano – This looks like a good race to go and make a cup of tea in rather then bet. While it is an average affair, Stryking Tina's form for the charismatic Tony Pagano has been far from anything to write home about. She has just one win and a third from 14 outings and has shown little to suggest that it is about to get any better.

Race 10 – Recruitment – Shaun Evans – Punters can go out in style when the zippy Recruitment gets his opportunity in the final event. The Shaun Evans trained dog has registered a fast 29.94 at the track and in his six career starts is yet to draw anywhere near the fence. He looks to have a class edge and is worth a flutter on.

My three box one are Race 3, Race 4 and Race 10. Take advantage of the promo at Centrebet and score an extra 25% on these three runners up to $200.
