THURSDAY is arguably the best night of greyhound racing each week and, with plenty of eyes sure to be focused on the sport, we want to make sure all of our valued readers can find a couple of winners.

Leg 1 – Sandown Park – Race 3: Lithgow Panther To Win at $4.00
Lithgow Panther is a star NSW stayer and he continues to get better with every run over this distance range. Last time out he was slow to begin but he showed a tremendous turn of foot before blowing away his rivals in a slick 42.23. Tonight he has an empty draw underneath and with an even getaway he should get a fairly clear passage early and he will prove too good for them. He won't find an easier race in town and he should get us off to a good start.
Leg 2 – Warrnambool – Race 4: Shirdon Connorae To Win at $2.40
Shirdon Connorae has been a little disappointing in recent weeks but he is much better than that and he appears drawn to get all the breaks tonight. From the red, he should be able to punch through in the run to the first turn and hold the rest of the field out. He is a different chaser when on the lure and he has proven in the past that he is capable of reeling off explosive sectionals. There are a couple of handy ones in the race so you might be able to get even money or a little better.
Leg 3 – Warrnambool – Race 7: Elbow Room To Win at $1.60
Elbow Room can be a little hard to follow at times but he has come up with a favourable draw and with the lack of early speed in this event he should be able to settle in a fairly prominent position. Three starts back he set the Horsham track alight with a dazzling 23.15 win and with an ounce of luck tonight he should be scoring quite easily.
