Leg 1 – Albion Park – Race 7: Annie Benz To Place $2.10
Annie Benz has been racing in terrific fashion of late and her effort when placed behind Keybow last week was highly impressive. Tonight she meets a weaker lineup and with the three expected to carve up the inside division she looks placed to figure in the finish. She is normally a very good beginner in her own right and if she steps well she should sit outside the three for most of the trip and I would expect her to finish too strong. She is currently at $7.50 to win which is a great price and it is worthwhile backing her straight out on the side.
Leg 2 – Maitland – Race 8: Sannette Chop To Win $2
Sannette Chop has always shown enormous potential and after a few injury concerns it appears that he is back to his brilliant best and he is going places. Last time out he stepped slowly but he picked up stride quickly and he powered to the line when posting a slick 25.18 victory. From the same draw tonight I am expecting him to step a little better and if he can sit just behind the three in the initial stages he should be able to break the 25 second barrier.
Leg 3 – Maitland – Race 10: Fascinate Mary To Win $4.20
Fascinate Mary is a faultless beginner and she has won six of her 23 tries over this track and trip. Tonight she is dropping considerably in class and from the inside draw she should be able to pounce on the lure and from there on she should never be in doubt. She is currently at the $4.20 mark and that appears to be a great price, so I suggest you snap it up early.
