Greyhound Betting Tips Friday 4th Of April

Things didn't go to plan last night and unfortunately was called off due to the rain. That only left us with four meetings. The main danger I selected in each race happened to win, and our top pick was left either in the pack or filling a minor placing.

Hopefully today we can have much more luck than we had last night, although punters who do follow my selections and happen to have a saver on the danger, should have shown a profit.

Ipswich Greyhounds Race 8 Box 5 Freddie Finch, 5.14pm

I've been tipping Freddie Finch here for a few weeks now, and it looks quite possible that he may get that long overdue win here today. John Pay, the trainer of Freddie Finch, decided to run his chaser at in his past two starts. Both times that resulted in a fifth placing and Freddie Finch running around 30.70 for the 520 metre trip. He looks suited back here today at and his record here is fantastic, with six starts for five seconds. It won't be long before the son of brings up win number one for the 520 meter journey, if he can begin well from a his middle box and take up the early lead or at worst position himself in the leading division, today might be the day. Look for odds around the $5.00 mark.

Nice Mover looks the main danger from box three, she has recorded a fast 30.53 here and has a great record on the track with three wins three seconds and one third from 10 starts. The daughter of the Brett's Rival should come out humming and if she finds the top, she should be extremely hard to run down.

This looks a great betting race and I suggest taking exotics and working around Freddie Finch and Nice Mover.

Wentworth Park Greyhounds Race 1 Box 8 Cawbourne Looney, 7.19pm

Race one is a staying race to kick off the card at tonight. Cawboune Looney is the class chaser in race one and looks far better than most of these. The problem with her is she doesn't like to go until she finds the rails and can be very inconsistent in her races. On pure ability alone she should absolutely kill these. Her best time of 41.92 would win just about every race here week in week out. She has a great record from box eight and has got the speed to jump, lead and clear these early on.

If she's unable to jump and lead, she still should position herself in behind the early leaders and be far too strong in the run to the line. Its quite hard working at what price she will be. I'd say around $2.40-$3.00. Given clear room and the ability to find the rail she will be too good.

Box one runner Suits Us is perfectly boxed and he will be a big danger. Eleazar is also a talented chaser who can get the cash.

Geelong Greyhounds Race 12 Box 1 Bling My Day, 10.47pm

Bling My Day was extremely disappointing last start at . He was one of the favourites that day and was expected to race really well, but never really showed any speed from the boxes or any mid race pace and just plodded to the line. We will forgive that run and go on his run two starts back at where he flew. From box one tonight he will get his chance to jump and get straight on the bunny and I feel this will bring the best out in him.

He is clearly a very talented chaser and should be winning this if he decides to chase and run up to his potential. He ticks all the boxes and should be far too good tonight. The main danger looks to be Roman Baroque but he will need a speedy beginning and a clear path, something he may not get.
