Albion Park Greyhounds Race 6 Box 1 Pearl Za Zinger 8.28pm

I've been jumping aboard this girl quite a lot lately, only to loose my cash. Her trainer has decided to step the daughter of and Kaycee Diva up to 600 and it may just prove a winning move. She has been racing well despite her form showing otherwise. She is generally a quick beginner but hasn't jumped for a while now, but box one should see her ping and go here tonight. If she does jump to the front she should find form and will prove really hard to reel in over the 600 meter trip. I don't think the longer journey will prove to much for her and she should be huge odds. I reckon if you shop around you may find odds of $15.00.

Box three runner Betty's Memory is always a great chance but her ability to win relies on her being able to jump to the front which she usually does, but hold the lead mid race. She generally has a flat spot after 200 metres and often finds herself going from first to third or even fourth and generally gets too far back to run over the top of the leaders. If Betty's Memory is able to hold the lead mid-race she should be a very hard to beat in the run to the line.

Have an eachway go at Pearl Za Zinger and a saver on Betty's Memory at odds also. Punters could also try boxing runners 1,3,6,8 in a box trifecta for $24.00 for 100%.

Angle Park Greyhounds Race 4 Box 1 Ducktail Jiver, 7.39pm

Ducktail Jiver gets his chance to win here in a race that's suitable from the perfect box. Ducktail Jiver has drawn the red and this should see him lead the race for a very long way. Two starts back he was only just pipped by the in form Zara McLaren in a solid 43.75 after leading all the way bar the post. He should be able to lead these tonight and I expect he should be able to run around the 43.60 mark, which will be fast enough to win this by a couple of lengths.

Box four runner Snow is the query runner in the the race, he won really well last start in 37.67 at , but the question remains about his ability to run out the extra trip here tonight. Galaxy Snow could also be the joint leader with Ducktail Jiver so I expect he'll put pressure on him early. Stick with Ducktail Jiver he's proven over the trip and has drawn well great chance.

Launceston Greyhounds Race 2 Box 6 Painted Dotty, 8.04pm

Painted Dotty looks a moral over the 600 metres here tonight. It's likely some money will come for the trained Aston Fury, he's been backed quite well in his last couple but has performed terribly. He steps up in trip tonight but I still don't think he'll prove much of a threat. Painted Dotty should fly the lids and take up the early lead, once in front she should be far to fast for this field. Her last two starts were poor but they were against far better opposition in top grade and over the 461 meter trip. She should be right there when the lids fly open and as long as she doesn't get checked out of contention she should just win.

Painted Dotty has a best time of 35.10 and I don't see why she can't run that or near that again tonight. Box two runner Alvin Benz could be a danger, he's been racing out of form but does enjoy the trip and should be running on at the business end. He could be the one to take behind Painted Dotty in an exacta or trifecta.

Shepparton Greyhounds Race 5 Box 5 Edgy Bale, 8.32pm

Tough race but Edgy Bale looks a great chance here even though he's drawn the squeeze box. He did go really well last start after missing the kick as one of the favourites. He stormed home when it looked likely he would stay at the back with the tailenders. He should come away with them tonight and as long as he doesn't get checked out of it, he should have plenty of burn once he hits the ground. The son of the has recorded six wins in his short career, but they are starting to become well spaced.

Smart is the obvious danger but he isn't the most reliable beginner and can be touchy early. If he happens to come out with them he should be super hard to hold out in the run to the line. I'm not a big fan of slow beginners so if backing him tread carefully.

Best of luck
