Greyhound Betting Tips Tuesday 8th April

Ipswich Greyhounds Race 6 Box 1 Give You Credit, 5.32pm

A Grade 5 final here with a few winning chances. Give You Credit started favourite last week from box three but was only able to manage fourth in a slow 31.09, beaten five lengths by Hara's Annie. Only two starts back he flew around in a very smart 29.93 from box seven and based on that performance alone, he's far too good for any of these runners in this race. Boxes make the difference and last week from box thee he found trouble before running home nicely to finish fourth. From box one here today he should begin quickly and find the bunny from the start. Once out in front and in open space, he looks capable of running around about the 30.50 mark, far quicker than the others are likely to run in this. My only concern is that he has had four starts here, and failed to run a place on each occasion.

Give You Credit is a son of first season sire Outta Credit and the very good broodbitch Where Are You, who has produced sub 30.00 second runners at Albion Park in each of her three litters. Give You Credit looks a great chance from box one and if odds of $3.50 is available, I suggest you jump on and take it. The main danger looks to be Dahomey Mahginny who is a litter mate to Give You Credit. She has been racing super well of late and last week recorded a solid 30.82 from box five, but box five today makes it tough and she will need to get straight to the front early to challenge.

Give You Credit looks the one and has the right box, so load up at Sportsbet with the $250 free bet.

Lismore Greyhounds Race 2 Box 1 Blue Size 7.05pm

This fellow flew around at last start and looked really impressive in doing so. He jumped from box seven and crossed the field in a flash and raced away for a comfortable victory in a fast 27.58. Two starts back he finished runner up here at when recording a PB of 24.43. He's been racing in super fashion and he's improved out of site in his past three starts. Blue Size is a son of , a former holder and star sprinter. Box one will suit him and if he can begin like he has been he should lead all the way.

The main danger looks to be the consistent Hazle Rose Hi who has been racing well here finishing in the placings three of her last four starts. She can begin well to challenge and looks a threat should she come away from the squeeze box quickly.

Punters should be able to get $3.00 plus about Blue Size fixed at one of the corporates.

Mandurah Greyhounds Race 7 Box 1 Limo Special, 10.05pm

This dog is resuming from a spell and at his best is a flying machine. He was out of form before being given a spell by his trainer Bill Skipper. He returns to the track tonight and looks a real winning chance from box one. His record here over the trip is fair, but he has run a fast 22.78 previously. He's not that well suited to the inside and does prefer it outwide. Generally speaking he doesn't begin all that well but being fresh he should begin much better then he's usually does. If he can lob in a handy position he will be charging at them late in the race.

Don't go taking silly odds though, he looks to be a $6.00 chance in a race that has a few winning chances. The main threat is Vic Gundi, who is racing in great fashion and will race forward early and be super hard to beat.

Best of luck
