Greyhound Betting Tips Wednesday 12th March

Albion Park Greyhounds Race 6 Box 2 Doc Graham, 4.24pm

It took the trained Doc Graham 16 starts to finally win his novice. He did so in winning last Thursday night at in a moderate 30.38. He has only been unplaced in three of his 16 career starts and inside draws are a big advantage to him and he should make full use of the draw. He takes on a far easier class of dog then he has been racing and all things point to a win for Doc Graham in this. He's not brilliant away, but does rail and musters quite good pace once into stride. Doc Graham does have a tendency to labour at times, and he can get a little wayward, but he's strong and should finish real hard.

Abby's Fantasy will probably be the early leader, and will take a power of beating based on her last start fifth, where she was beaten by a length in a fast 30.12. She is quite moody in my opinion and will need to be on her game today. These two runners look the standout pair of the field and should be running one and two.

Doc Graham should start second favourite, so punters can be assured they will get odds of at lease 2-1 about the son of Where's Pedro. The only other two runners that can be placed in my opinion are Gotcha Back and Maxi Bon. Both dogs have drawn well and when on song can threaten. But both are only in fair form, and will need a lot of luck go there way.

Exotics look the best way to make a quid in this.

Bulli Greyhounds Race 7 Box 8 Rum Punch 9.08pm

I am going with the second favourite here in Rum Punch, and he's well boxed to whoosh around the outside and put pay to these. He won well in solid time last start, and has had plenty of race experience, having had 12 starts as compared to the two starts experienced by probable favourite Oblivious. The big track suits this fellow and he should relish the pink box.

While Oblivious has gone quicker then Rum Punch he will have to contend with a middle box and some experienced runners. There is no doubt he is a tremendous talent and will go on to bigger and better things. But with Rum Punch drawing the outside and having the added experience he looks the better bet of the two. He won well in 26.52 last start and he should again improve on that time.

These two runners look the standouts and only bad luck should see these two finish out of the placings. Punters looking for value should find it again with taking exotics.

Cannington Greyhounds Race 7 Box 2 Freeway Sparkle 11.37pm

Freeway Sparkle looks the main dog in this event here tonight. She's finally back to her best and has been racing very consistently of late. She has the early speed to fly the lids and find the bunny from the get go. Once in front she should be able to reel off good sectionals and put a gap in these mid way through the race. Its very important that she leads and gets everything her own way to show her best.

Box one runner Bad Memory for leading trainer is certainly a talent having won her last three performance trials. She was only slow to begin last week but mustered very good pace to lead all the way in a solid 31.12. These two runners having drawn boxes one and two should get the run of the race and look the main two in a wide open affair.

There's no substitute for experience and as long as Freeway Sparkle starts at odds of $2.50 or more she's worth a win bet or as a standout in exotics.

Ballarat Greyhounds Race 5 Box 3 Special Pup 8.21pm

Special Pup is an absolute flying machine who hasn't found his feet since coming across from Western Australia. He's had four starts in Victoria and been disappointing on each occasion. He's too fast of a dog to continue this poor form and he should give these wind burn tonight if he comes out running. He is able to win from any box, but the key to success with him is getting a clear run in the early stages of the race. Most of the money will come for box two runner Cosmic Station, but he hasn't got the straight line speed that Special Pup has. Punters should be able to achieve odds of $5.00 about the -Magri trained and Bill Skipper owned Cup winner.

Special Pup looks a great bet tonight if the real Special Pup turns up.
