Best Bet

Race 7: Mullaway

Mullaway has been taking on some gun chasers in recent times and he should be suited by the drop in class tonight. The 732m trip isn't his best journey but tonight he meets a field which doesn't have great staying depth and if he can settle in the top three or four he should be able to pick them off late in the race. He is currently around the $2.80 mark and that appears to be pinching money.

Best Value
Ipswich

Race 5: Double Storm

Double Storm is a highly consistent type and he is perfectly drawn out wide. He has won three of 17 here overall and he has been placed in a further eight of those runs. He has slow beginners drawn on either side, so with a clean getaway he should be able to drive through at the first bend and if he settles in the top two or three he should dash away mid race. He is currently $4 with William Hill which is enormous overs as he does appear to have a fair bit on his rivals.

Best Roughie

Race 7: Warami Doll

She has only had the seven starts to date but three starts back she posted an impressive Goulbourn win over the 350m journey and last time out she was far from disgraced when placed at in very fast time. She is currently $15 with William Hill which is ridiculous odds and she is worth an each way ticket. I'm expecting her to settle in the first three and she should be quite strong in the run home.

Best Quinella

Race 2: 1 to rove with 3,7,8 ($3 for 100%)

Allmendinger is a super talent when on song and he showed that he is back to his best with a brilliant 26.40 win last time out, from the red he should finish in the top two. Paua Shot is better than his recent form reads and he should add some value to the dividend, whilst Fab Surfy and Pedagogy both have early speed and they should be in the mix for a long way.

Best Trifecta

Race 6: 1/3,4,5/3,4,5,6,7,8 ($15 for 100%)

Best Quaddie
