THE greyhound racing action continues around the country today as we prepare for a big few days ahead including the Group 1 Harrison-Dawson and Sapphire Crown finals and the heats of Australia's richest staying event, the Group 1 Sandown Cup on Thursday evening.

Race 8: Victory Prince with William Hill
Victory Prince is ideally drawn out wide and he appears to have the class edge over his rivals. Three starts back he powered to the line when scoring a slick 30.14 Albion Park win and a similar effort tonight would see him win again. There is plenty of speed drawn in seven, so he should get a nice cart across in the run to the first turn.

Race 12: Specify with William Hill
He hasn't won for a little while but he is highly talented and he is drawn to get the gun run. The one and three should both show good speed and that will allow him to drop in behind for a nice sit, he is quite strong in the run home so he should be able to finish over the top of them. He will be double figure odds and he will be a good each way bet.

Race 8: Flamin' Go with William Hill
She is stepping back up in distance and if she can pounce on the early lead she should give them something to catch as she does have a blistering 34.72 PB here. There are a couple of handy ones in this event so you should be able to get around the $4 mark with William Hill which is great over's.

Race 4: 8 to rove with 4,5,6 ($3 for 100%)
Demi Cali is going to be extremely short odds and she should win comfortably.
Shoshone Star was solidly placed in his Tassie debut and he shouldn't be too far away again.
Codex and Mental as Ben both have great records here and they should be in the mix for a long way.
