This race features number of highly promising youngsters and at least half of this field will go on to win better races and I think the well bred Cadillac Style can get the job done at value tonight. Last week he showed great mid race pace when placed in his heat and I'm sure he would have derived a lot of benefit from that run. Tonight there is a heap of speed underneath him so that should allow him to lob onto the rail soon after the start and he should get a nice sit in the early stages. He hit the line well last week so he should prove too strong in the run home.

Tron Express has been placed in his three starts to date and he should lead for a long way, his last 30m may be a struggle but he should turn with a solid enough lead.

Cosmic Break powered to the line in his top 26.10 heat win and he will prove hard to hold out with some luck early, I'm a bit concerned about the draw but he is too good to dismiss.

Ripper could be another value bet in the event, he turned in a great effort here last week and he is likely to be over the odds tonight.

Top Four: 4 – 7 – 1 – 6

Glock is a massive talent and after six weeks off he should be primed for a bold first up showing. He is better known over a longer journey but he should sprint well fresh and this isn't an overly strong race. He should settle mid field and once he gets out into some open space he will go into overdrive.

Kang Bale has the good draw and he should punch through and hold them out early, he hasn't been having a lot of luck in recent times so from the red he should be able to regain some confidence.

Flying Alf has lots of talent but his box manners can let him down, if he happens to step on terms he should find himself in front after around 70m or so but the probably is he misses the kick more than he pings.

Black Selandra is likely to be big over's in this, she races well here and she could run a cheeky race at nice odds.
