Maxwell Rumble has recorded two handy placings in his brief career to date and prior to that he recorded a solid 24.67 when winning a Lismore performance trial. Today he has two slow beginners drawn underneath and he should be able to find the fence soon after the start. He's in good hands I expect him to continue to improve with more racing. Valiant Crusader is well drawn out wide and he has been placed in three of four starts. He has shown good early pace in all four starts to date and he should put some pressure on Maxwell Rumble for most of the journey. Cute Cute is a member of the powerful Hazelgrove kennel and she is bred to have plenty of speed. She has been fair in her three runs so far but I would expect her to get better with more racing. Delivered rounds out the chances, he will be looking to get wide in the early stages but if he gets room early he should be in the mix.

Kulu Karma is an exciting prospect and she really caught the eye when posting a strong 25.44 win here last week. From the red draw she should be able to poke through and lead at the first turn and from there on she should prove very hard to run down. She has scored some very fast wins in her brief career and if you can land $2.50 or better then you should load up. Hara's Dereck is a class act when on song and he hit the line strongly when placed here last time. I expect that he will settle back in the field again but he has great track sense and he should be thereabouts. Premier's Reign is resuming from a spell and she should be primed for a bold first up showing, although she has done most of her latest racing over 600m she is more than capable of showing enough speed to compete over this journey.
