Burwana looks set to score here in an ordinary 520M novice. He has been fairly consistent in his past four starts against much better opposition. Box three isn't ideal for him because he needs room to move and only begins fairly. Luck will play a part if he is to win here. Expect him to land midfield early and start to work into the race down the back straight. With a little luck he is clearly the one to beat.
Box four runner Well Hello is a far better dog then her recent form suggests. If she can jump and find herself in a forward position I expect her to hold onto it. She has met some stiff opposition in her past couple and looks a great place chance at odds.
Zerambo is certainly going good enough to challenge in this and is likely to start one of the favourite selections. She will need to begin far better then she has done in her past two if she is to lead. It has always been rumoured that What A Thursday can gallop a little, but in her fourteen stars to date we have only seen glimpse of that talent. She is a get back and run on type so she looks likely to fill fourth.
Top Four Selections: 2 – 4 – 7 – 6
Suggested Bet: Eachway Burwana
Trifecta: 2/4,6,7/3,4,5,6,7
1st: $850 2nd: $250 3rd: $125.

In his past seven starts Allen Namor has been beaten by the best dogs in South Australia. You have to go back that far to find his last solid run when winning at Gawler. The start before that he blew then away winning by eleven lengths in a fast 29.90 from box six. This is a huge drop in class tonight and a repeat of his best performance will see him win. Box eight is ok as long as he comes away midfield and can work his way around the outside.
Kalden Blanco is the danger but I'm not convinced she'll get away from out wide. If she does come away quickly and hit the front, she will be very hard to beat. Aston has been going well lately and he can drive forward to fill a place spot. Bogie Yates can land handy and he looms a a real threat if he fires up.
Top Four Selections: 8 – 7 – 5 – 1
Suggested Bet: Win on Allen Namoor.
