Monday’s best multi bet tips and top bookie odds
WE had a day off yesterday so hopefully we can come back refreshed and bounce back into form. Tonight we head to Angle Park and there appear to be some very well graded chasers.
Leg 1 – Angle Park – Race 3: Menzel Boys To Place (Top Two) $1.91
Menzel Boys is showing plenty of promise and from the red draw he should be afforded all the breaks in the run to the first turn. There isn't a whole lot of early speed in this event, so if he can get away cleanly he should have no trouble holding the early lead and he is very hard to get past when on the lure. The $4 on offer for the win also appears to be value, so it might be worthwhile having a seperate win bet.
Leg 2 – Angle Park – Race 5: Tahlo To Win $1.80
Tahlo is a class act and from the good draw she should get every chance to make every post a winner. Last time out she destroyed a handy lineup when leading all the way over the 731m journey and she is better suited back to this trip. There isn't a lot of speed drawn in the middle so with an even beginning she should have no trouble holding the early lead and there is no chance any of these will be able to reel her in.
Leg 3 – Angle Park – Race 10: Kiola Lachlan To Place $2.62
Kiola Lachlan doesn't win very often but he is never far away in his races and from the wide draw he should be afforded all the breaks. Six starts back he did score a strong 30.32 win here from this draw and a repeat of that would see him finish in the top three and at nice odds. There isn't a whole lot of depth in this event so he does appear to be way over the odds.
