Angel Of Music is armed with early speed and if she can step cleanly she should get every chance to lead throughout. She has recorded two handy placings here of late and this is clearly the easiest race that she has contested for some time. She isn't overly strong at the end but I would expect her to build up a big lead mid-race.

Our Spinner could be the value in the race, he is suitably drawn out wide and he was far from disgraced when placed here last week. Last time out he posted an impressive 5.04 to the first marker and a repeat of that would see him sit outside or just behind Angel Of Music for most of the journey.

Laurie's Chance doesn't win very often but he is a must for the exotics, he is likely to settle back in the field early but he does have good mid race pace and he will be strong in the run home.

Sir Tex rounds out the chances, he recently won the VBIS series at and he appears to be getting better with every start.

8TEKKI MINX [5]33233NBTD Crawford (Pearcedale)

Eyeful Of Bling is racing in good form at present and he should be better for the run here last time when making his debut over this trip. On that occasion he was a tad slow to begin and he found bother mid race, however he still kept coming in the home straight and only went down by three and a bit lengths. Tonight I would expect him to settle a lot closer to the speed and he should assume control mid race.

Tekki Minx has been placed in her past eight starts and she should be in the mix again, the box draw doesn't help but she has raced well from wide draws in her past three runs and if she can settle in the top two or three early she might get her chance to break through.

Trip To Cairns has scored two impressive wins at in recent months and she has the speed to lead them up, she can be hit or miss early but if she steps away she might just lead all the way.

Vernon Bale is the only other real winning hope, he is in great form and he continues to get stronger with every start.

9CHECHEZZ [5]25357NBTA O'keefe (Giffard West)

Gaucho is an exciting prospect and if he brings his provincial form to town, he will blow them away. Two starts back he scorched around when posting a breathtaking 23.59 victory and he followed that effort up with a brilliant 23.64 win. There isn't a whole lot of speed drawn around him so he really does look to be a good thing, he will be short so it might be best to anchor him up front in the exotics.

Image Puzzle has brilliant early speed and she has won here previously in a solid 29.88, she obviously lacks the brilliance of the favourite but if Gaucho happens to find early bother she may be off and gone with the prize.

Sutton Club could be the value, three starts back he turned in a monster effort to score at Shepparton in 25.79 and a race of this calibre is not beyond him.

Axis Bale is a big talent when on song and he showed a return to form at The Meadows when placed last time, he tends to do his best racing here and he may be worth an each way ticket if he goes around at silly odds.

Blue Giant isn't the most reliable conveyance but he has a massive engine and if he is given room in the first 50m he should blow this field away. Three starts back he unleashed a powerful finish to win here in 29.51 and his two subsequent runs have been impressive in FFA class. From the red he should settle a bit closer to the speed than normal and he will then go into overdrive mid-race.

Shanlyn Patch has a solid record here and he turned in a strong effort when placed here last week. He should be suited by the empty draw on his outside and if he runs his normal first section he should be in the top two early on.

He Isn't Really could be the value, he is very hit or miss early but when he steps away he is capable of running good times. Three starts back he was placed behind the exciting Fernando Bale at the Meadows over 525m and that type of effort would see him be competitive here.

Dyna Fulcrum has been racing well and he must be included in your exotics, I dont think he can win but he is drawn to be thereabouts.

The well-named Noosa Rocket is aiming for eight wins on the trot and with any sort of luck he should win. Last time out he made his metro debut and he went through the first marker in a sizzling 5.02 and he then posted a brilliant 29.41 overall. If he can turn in a similar effort tonight he should win with ease.

Benta Bale has won two in a row and although they were from the red draw she does look well placed again tonight. She has shown good early speed in her two recent wins and if she can show similar speed tonight she should settle in the first half of the field and she will be strong in the run to the line.

Barksdale caught the eye with a solid placing behind Noosa Rocket and he would have derived a lot of benefit from that run.

Dyna Chaser is a must for your exotic bets, he lacks mid-race pace but he finishes on well and he has been placed in six of seven over this journey.

8OPEC BALE [5]11133NBTM Delbridge (Balliang)

Opec Bale, which recently received a Zoom Top invite, has been extremely unlucky in recent weeks and from the pink draw he should be able to return to the winners list tonight. Three starts back he stepped cleanly and led all the way when recording a blistering 42.45 at The Meadows and he should be better suited to this track.

Footluce Diva should set the pace and if she can handle the extra distance she will prove extremely hard to reel in. In recent weeks she has posted two devastating wins here over the 595m journey and she has hit the line quite well in both of those wins.

Lites And Sirens will unwind a big finish and she recently won here in a solid 42.04. I dont think she can win tonight but she might be a great anchor for third and fourth in your exotic bets.

Double Rinse is probably the only other winning hope, she is poorly drawn but she did record a strong 720m Wentworth Park win last time out.

9CHECHEZZ [5]25357NBTA O'keefe (Giffard West)

Dawkins Bale is a serious up and comer and his effort last time out in a heat of the Warragul Cup was enormous. His box manners aren't great but he has a fast beginner drawn on his inside and a slow beginner on his outer, so if he can step cleanly he should get more than enough room to drive through early. He has a handy 29.56 PB over this trip but I think with a clear run he could easily break the 29.25 mark.

Miss Cersei continues to improve and she has the gun draw, last week she flew early in her smart 29.54 win and a repeat of that effort will see her give the favourite something to catch.

Humphrey Bale has been competing at the top level for quite some time and he is still racing well, last week he was going to settle in a prominent position before finding bother, if he can avoid bother at the first turn tonight he could run a race at odds.

Maximus Glider finally returned to the winners list last week and he shouldn't be too far away again, he is likely to get too far back early to win but he can sneak into some minor money.

8ALLEN MALIK [5]7142229.50(7)S Collins (Lara)

Lamia Bale looked impressive when placed behind My Bro Fabio here last week and if she can ping the lids again she will prove extremely hard to reel in. She has a tremendous record over this trip and with slow beginners drawn on either side she should be afforded all the breaks in the run to the first turn.

Sisco Rage is in career best form and his effort behind Caustic Bale two runs back was enormous. He hasn't drawn too well tonight but if he can settle in the first half of the field he should make his presence felt.

Margins continues to impress and he charged home to score here last week in 29.49, he is going to need luck in running again so maybe place claims look best for him tonight.

Buckle Up Mason is a few lengths off his best at present but from the red draw he can still be a factor.

Rocket Ready has some serious talent and he comes to Victoria with some slick wins to his credit. He has recently joined the powerful Ennis camp and I'm sure they will have him ready to fire. The red draw isn't a great because he will look to get wide early but if he happens to get through the turn safely he will take a power of beating.

Miss Mayflower wasn't disgraced when placed here last time and she should be able to roll to the early lead. If the red lands on her back I dont think she can hold him out but if he happens to find bother she should set up a nice break mid-race and she will prove hard to reel in.

Blistering Bob can be hard to follow but he has the good draw and he can show smart early speed at times, if he can step cleanly he should run a nice race at odds.

Lektra Utopia was placed behind a gun sprinter here two runs back and he has the speed to cross and lead.

We're Off Here is a very reliable beginner and he caught the eye with a strong 29.63 victory here recently. He will need to lead to win again but there isn't a whole lot of speed drawn in boxes one to three and he should have the speed to hold out the outside division. There are a couple of handy ones in this so you might get some value at around the $3.50 mark.

Bogner Bale has turned in two great performances at The Meadows in recent weeks and he is drawn to get a nice cart across early. If he was drawn inside the four he would be my top pick but I'm a little concerned that he might be posted a little wide early.

Jubilea Bale was a recent finalist in the Warragul Cup and she loves racing here, I dont think she has the speed to cross but if she can settle in the first half she should be there at the end.

Narralee recently sizzled in a heat of the Two Warragul Cup and she was never out of trouble in the final, from the pink tonight she should be able to cross and lead them easily. I can't see them running her down when she is posting a sub 29.40 run on the bunny.

Samus Allen turned in a strong effort when placed here last week and she should run a big race again, she is normally a reliable beginner so if she can step cleanly and camp behind Narralee early she should give the favourite a run for her money.

Andiamo Neo continues to improve and he has been placed in five of eight over this trip, he is quite strong in the run home and he looks a great place prospect.

Six Green Thumbs showed a dazzling turn of foot in his recent 30.41 Cranbourne win and with a railer drawn in box seven he should get a nice cart across in the early stages. He has won two of four over this trip and he appears to have everything going for him.

Dyna Keitaro has the class edge and if he can cross in the early stages he will take a power of beating. He was a brilliant 30.10 Meadows winner two runs back but the only concern is that he may move a little left soon after box rise.

Dyna Fatbob is much better than his recent form reads and he could be the value in the event, whilst Be Two Bomber has enough speed to settle in the top three early and he could hold on for a place.
