Leg 1 – Richmond – Race 6: Mizzou Tiger To Place (Top Two Finish Required) $2.25
Mizzou Tiger is dropping considerably in class tonight and with the empty draw on his outside he should get every chance to return to the winners list. He is having his first try over this track and trip but he has raced well at Wentworth Park over a similar journey, he should be able to settle mid field and with a few of the expected leaders likely to struggle in the run home he should be able to pick them off late. He is a great winning prospect but for multi purposes I think the place option is safer.
Leg 2 – Wentworth Park – Race 8: Oh So Striking To Place $1.80
Oh So Striking is a strong chaser and he caught the eye when resuming from a long spell at The Gardens last time. On that occasion he was slow to begin and he got caught up in traffic, however he was able to make a strong move mid race and he really hit the line well. He should have derived a lot of benefit from that run and I'm expecting him to show even more improvement tonight.
Leg 3 – Ipswich – Race 10: Double Storm To Win $2.10
Double Storm is a class act when on song and he appears drawn to win tonight. He has won two of three over this track and trip and two runs back he really powered to the line when posting a smart 25.29 win here. There is a fair bit of speed drawn in seven, so with a clean getaway he should get a nice cart across in the early stages and I'm expecting him to prove far too strong in the run to the line.
