Leg 1 – Gawler – Race 10: Hashtag Harry To Place $1.80
Hashtag Harry doesn't win too often but he is never far away and he looks suited in this company. He is armed with early speed and, with the lack of speed in two, he should be able to push through and settle in the top two early on. He has a bit of a flat spot mid race but he will come again and at the $1.80 for the place he appears to be a very safe investment.
Leg 2 – Sandown Park – Race 10: Glitterbug To Place (Top Two Finish Required) $2
Glitterbug is normally a very reliable beginner and although she does lose a little ground through the corners, she is very strong in the run home and she can put time on the board. There is a little bit of speed on her inside but she shouldn't cop too much crowding from the outside and that should allow her to get balanced, this isn't an overly strong race and with any sort of luck she should be able to finish in the top two.
Leg 3 – Sale – Race 5: Alexis Kelton To Win $2.50
Alexis Kelton has been taking on some gun chasers of late and three runs back she really caught the eye when placed behind star prospect Angie Rocks. Tonight she has drawn favourably in eight and she is drawn to get a nice cart across from the seven early. I'm expecting her to settle in the top three and she should make a strong move mid race, there are a couple of handy ones in this event but with a clear run I think she will have their measure.
