Leg 1 – Albion Park – Race 9: Kid Shelleen To Place $2.10
Kid Shelleen has recorded two smart placings here in recent weeks and he is getting close to another win. He can be a little hit or miss early but he does possess a great turn of foot and with an ounce of luck early he should be able to drive through and settle in the top two or three. He has recorded a sizzling 22.64 here previously and with some luck in running he should be able to figure prominently.
Leg 2 – Albion Park – Race 10: Marlo Good To Place $1.67
Marlo Good has been placed in six of his past seven starts and with some luck in the first 50m, he should be able to sneak into the placings. I'm expecting him to settle back in the field early but he does hit the line well and he does have good track sense. The box draw is a slight concern but with the wide runner drawn on his outside, he should get a fairly clear passage in the initial stages.
Leg 3 – Albion Park – Race 12: Celtic Colleen To Place $2.10
Celtic Colleen is dropping considerably in class and she does do her best racing around this circuit. She normally settles midfield in her races but this race doesn't feature a lot of pace, so if she can get away cleanly she should be able to drive through and settle in the leading division. She has a fair bit on these talent wise, so at the $6.50 to win she is great value and it is probably worthwhile having something on her to win separately.
