Leg 1 – Sale – Race 3: Mum's Gem To Place (Top Two Finish Required) $1.57
Mum's Gem doesn't win very often but she does have a fair bit of talent and from the inside draw she should get every chance to salute. Last time out she was slow to begin but she worked to the line nicely when placed at Warragul over the 680m journey. This race isn't overly strong and with some luck in the early stages she should balance up in the top four and I would expect her to prove too good for her rivals.
Leg 2 – Sale – Race 8: Danyo's Slappy To Win $1.90
Danyo's Slappy is a class act and he has won six of his seven tries over this track and trip. He usually lid pings and with another clean getaway tonight he should roll to the front and score with considerable ease. Two starts back he recorded a sizzling 24.69 when winning here and I don't think any of his opponents can get anywhere near that. He is a bit short at the $1.90 but I think he will start even shorter, so I suggest you take the $1.90 early.
Leg 3 – Sale – Race 12: Up And Adam To Place $2.38
Up And Adam is a slow beginner and it often works against him, however drawn in the three tonight I think it might actually work in his favour. I expect the one and two to get out quite well and the two likes to move off the track, so if Up And Adam can miss the kick he should get a nice rails run and that should allow him to settle in around third or fourth. He is extremely strong in the run to the line and at $2.38 for the place he appears to be a nice bet.
