Open race to kick off the night but I've decided to go with the highly promising Ebert Bale. He was good to begin on debut and he was able to reel off impressive sectionals before posting a speedy 30.16 overall. He will exit the same draw tonight and with an even getaway he should be able to get the cash again.
Deadly Pace was well supported when on debut here last week and he showed great speed when placed behind Ebert Bale. He had to work hard in the early stages of that race and he got a little tired in the run home. If he happens to cross in the early stages he might be able to getaway mid race and steal the prize.
Folio Bale powered to the line in her top 30.39 debut win here and with some luck early she should be in the mix again. There isn't a lot of speed around her so she should get a fairly clear passage.
Diego Bale rounds out the chances, he will get back in the early stages but he will hit the line hard and he can sneak into the placings.
Top Four: 2 – 8 – 3 – 5
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Ebert Bale

Detroit Tiger has been a little disappointing in his past couple of runs but he really did catch the eye when scoring at Bendigo on debut in a blistering 23.65. From the red draw tonight he should be able to roll to the early lead and I'm expecting him to get away mid race. His final 50-metres won't be great but he should have enough in hand to hold on.
Zipping Express is well drawn nearer the inside and he should run a big race, two starts back he scored a commanding 30.39 Dubbo win and with some luck early he should be right in the mix.
Harlon showed smart early speed when scoring at Sandown last time in 29.65 and if he reproduces that effort he should run a very cheeky race, it's worth noting that he has won here also in a smart 30.24.
Misty Sannette is the interesting runner, she has been just steady in her three Victorian runs but prior to coming here she did set the Gardens track a light with a blistering 29.43 win.
Top Four: 1 – 3 – 4 – 5
Suggested Bets
Win bet on Detroit Tiger
Quinella: 1 to rove with 3,4,5 ($3 for 100%)

Our Zayney Nash continues to show improvement on the provincial circuit and after scoring at Warragul in a sizzling 25.89 he deserves a shot in town. He isn't the best of beginners but he does pick up quite well once he hits the ground. If he is given room in the first 20-metres he should be able to drive through and find the early lead. At around the $4.50 mark he appears to be a good bet.
Mepunga Rosie has won three of her six starts to date and all three wins have been at Sandown Park with the latest being in a slick 29.46. She showed a lot more early dash in her latest win and if she repeats that she will be right in the mix here.
Bel Air Spice is another who continues to improve with more racing and she is unbeaten in her three tries here, the box draw isn't great tonight but with a clean getaway she should put herself into contention at the first bend.
Nifty Neveelk rounds out the winning hopes, he will be charging home late and he should be suited to the wider draw.
Top Four: 4 – 2 – 8 – 6
Suggested Bets
Win bet on Our Zayney Nash
Quinella: 4 to rove with 2,6,8 ($3 for 100%)

Why Not Wayne has been racing well without winning of late and from the red draw he should get every chance to return to the winners list. He is armed with solid early speed and with a couple of slow beginners on his outside he should be able to push through and just about lead at the first bend. He will be running time on the lure and he looks one of the better bets on the night.
Lakerville is clearly the most talented chaser in the event but he can do a lot of things wrong in his races. He has been missing the kick of late but he hasn't been beaten all that far, this is a drop in class for him and he shouldn't be far away again.
Enchanted Bling powered to the line in her smart 30.51 Cranbourne win and she must be respected again, she has won here previously and she tends to show a lot more early speed over this distance range.
Bronco De Jurer must be included in your exotic bets, he is drawn to get a nice sit just behind the speed and he was a strong 545M Ballarat winner two runs back.
Top Four: 1 – 7 – 8 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Why Not Wayne
Quinella: 1 to rove with 2,7,8 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,7,8/1,2,7,8 ($9 for 100%)

Crackerjack Max is a faultless beginner and he is dropping in class tonight. The box draw doesn't help but there is no speed at all drawn on his outside and there isn't a lot of speed overall in this lineup. With a clean getaway he should be able to drive to the early lead and set up a nice lead mid race. He will be running around the 30 flat mark on the lure and that should be enough to score.
Allen Icarus is drawn to be in a prominent spot throughout and he has a solid record here. I dont think he can win but he should figure in the minor money.
Dyna Chaser should be able to come across with the six in the early stages and he has strong claims. He has won five races over this journey and he recorded his handy 30.12 PB here from this draw.
Dyna Brainiac and Axis Bale need to be included in your quaddies if you're going wide, both have the talent to win, they just need to get away cleanly.
Top Four: 6 – 8 – 1 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Crackerjack Max with William Hill
Quinella: 6 to rove with 1,2,8 ($3 for 100%)

Emrys made his middle distance debut here last week and he looked ultra impressive when scoring a commanding 34.50 victory. On that occasion he was able to use his rails draw to advantage and that allowed him to find the top in the early stages. I don't think he will lead tonight but he should settle in the top three and I would expect him to run over the top in the closing stages.
Secret Spell is expected to roll to the early lead and she reeled off devastating sectionals in her 34.44 win here last week. I'm a little concerned that she will go far too hard in the early stages and she may get picked off late in the race.
Starc could add some value to your exotics, he is a talented stayer and he will be hitting the line solidly. In recent weeks he has recorded two top placings over this journey and he will be nice odds for the place.
Blue Giant and Midnight Flynn must be included in your quaddies if you go wide, both can ping the lids on their night and they are just as talented as any other runner in this field.
Top Four: 1 – 6 – 3 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Emrys
Quinella: 1 to rove with 3,4,6 ($3 for 100%)

Very open race but if the classy Spring Leaf can regain her best form she will take a power of beating. She has won six races over this trip and she has the ability to show tremendous early pace in her races, with a lack of speed around her she should be afforded a clear passage in the initial stages and she should prove far too classy.
Missile Flash has the speed to challenge the favourite in the early stages and she is another who loves this circuit, I dont think she can reel in the five but she should hang on for the quinella spot.
Fearless John has shown tremendous improvement in recent weeks and with a bit of luck in the first 50-metres he shouldn't be far away.
Dyna Norfolk could add some value, his form reads quite poorly but he has come up with the good draw and he has a solid record here, if the favourites happen to shuffle up early he should be able to take advantage.
Top Four: 5 – 2 – 3 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Spring Leaf with William Hill
Quinella: 5 to rove with 1,2,3 ($3 for 100%)

Crackerjack Dak is much better than his form reads and he has a terrific record over this track and trip. He showed handy speed here last week before finding bother. If he can show a similar amount of speed tonight he should be able to find the early lead and he is a different chaser when he can dictate the terms out in front.
Jayney Bale should get a nice sit behind Crackerjack Dak in the early stages and with a clear passage she should put some pressure on him as they near the finish line. She is another who excels here and it all comes down to luck in the early stages with her.
Lektra Utopia beat a classy lineup at Sandown Park last time when posting a smart 29.52, if he can ping the lids again he should be in the firing line for most of the journey.
Aristotle Bale is the only other winning hope. He is struggling at present but he does have the good draw and he has won three of nine here overall and he has been placed in a further four of those runs.
Top Four: 3 – 2 – 5 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Crackerjack Dak
Quinella: 3 to rove with 1,2,5 ($3 for 100%)

Splash Mountain has really put it altogether in recent weeks and with a clean getaway from the middle pin he should be able to carve across to the early lead. He is a different type of chaser when he lands on the lure and he has been placed in three of four here overall. If he finds the top early tonight he should get away mid race and that should be enough for him to score.
Dewana Hitman is a beast when on song and he is much better than his form reads, he will likely miss away but if there is a gap in the early stages I would expect him to push through into a prominent spot at the first turn.
Zoe is drawn to settle in the top two early and she has been racing in consistent style, if she holds them out she becomes a great winning prospect, if the yellow crosses she should still be able to hold on for a place.
Nunya Tron is the interesting runner, he recently captured the Warrnambool Classic final and he is making his metro debut, if he handles the track he should run a great race.
Top Four: 5 – 3 – 1 – 2
Suggested Bets
Win bets on Splash Mountain and Zoe
Quinella: 5 to rove with 1,2,3 ($3 for 100%)

Tough race but I think we can find some value with the talented Mepunga Tiara, she has been taking on some classy stayers in recent weeks and she is better suited back to this distance range. I'm expected her to show a fair bit of early dash tonight and if she can settle up in the top three she should take a power of beating. She should be around the $6 mark and that is great value.
Dyna Nihilist is a big talent when switched on and if he can find the rail soon after box rise he will prove hard to hold out, his box manners can sometimes let him down but he is quite strong. So with some luck in running he should be right in the mix.
Rumero Reason has the class edge and he is currently racing in great form, my only concern with him is that he races best when drawn closer to the inside and from box six I'm expecting him to find some early bother.
Julie Bale rounds out the serious hopes, she is another who drops back in class and distance, she has won four of nine over this trip and she can show early speed in her races.
Top Four: 5 – 4 – 7 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Win bets on Mepunga Tiara and Julie Bale

Edge Of Eden has won two of his three starts to date and he really caught the eye with his latest win at Geelong when posting a sizzling 25.67. After finding a little bother early, he showed a devastating turn of speed and after 60-metres he was in control and never in doubt. If he can get away on terms tonight he should be able to push through into a prominent spot and that will allow him to get away mid race.
Zipping Meg is a serious talent and she will be charging home in the closing stages. Last time out she reeled in a couple of handy chasers when posting a solid 28.48 at Bendigo.
Kenju Bale returned to the winners list with a strong 30.15 win here on Wednesday and she is drawn to figure prominently again, whilst Gin Bale continues to improve with more racing and he can run home into the placings.
Top Four: 6 – 8 – 1 – 2
Suggested Bets
Win bet on Edge Of Eden

Hercules Bale is a very strong chaser and with the speed drawn around him he should be able to drop onto the rail in the early stages and get a nice sit just behind the speed. I'm expecting a few of the leaders to fold up late so he should be able to run over the top in the final stages. He will be each way odds and hopefully he can end the night for us on a good note.
Motangi has been racing well without winning of late and he could be a good saver bet, he should be in the leading division for most of the trip and he can hit the line solidly. He has been placed in two of three here and he is nearing another win.
Brown Bomber is a big talented when switched on and with some luck in the early stages he can run a big race.
Jailor Bale is the only other real winning hope, he has the speed to lead and he has won three of his ten tries over this trip.
Top Four: 3 – 6 – 5 – 2
Suggested Bets
Win bets on Hercules Bale and Motangi
