Quasi Bale is a gun chaser and he has been crying out for this distance range, two starts back he trounced a handy lineup when scoring at Horsham in a slick 32.79. On that occasion he hit the line very well and if you can run a strong 570m at Horsham, you should have no trouble running out the 600m here. He should be able to settle in the top two or three early and I would expect him to go into overdrive mid race.

Tekki Minx has been racing in consistent form of late and she should lead them a merry dance, last time out Echelonic Action got to her pretty early in the race but she was still able to kick on and she went down by only four lengths, if she can turn in a similar effort tonight she should prove very hard to reel in again.

Volksjager Blue turned in a monster effort in a heat of the Cup last time and he looks well placed in the red, I'm not convinced that he is suited to the track but from the red he must be given a chance.

Classy Boy rounds out the chances, he will settle back early but he does hit the line hard and he only needs a bit of luck mid race to feature.

Extremely open race and I think we can find some value out wide, Chrichton Bale is an exciting prospect and he was desperately unlucky in his heat, tonight he exits a favourable wide draw and if he can avoid bother in the first 50m he should be able to put himself into a winning position. He is yet to win in town but he has scored some slick provincial wins to date and with a clear run I reckon he will be running some time tonight.

Waymore Blues should also be a bit of value, he scored a strong 30.29 win here last week and he has the ability to lead or come from off the speed in his races, with the wide running Chrichton Bale drawn on his outside, he should get a fairly clear passage into the first bend and he should then be able to make an impact.

Cheap Currency has the good draw and he was the fastest heat winner in 30.13, if he manages to settle in the top three early he will prove extremely hard to hold out.

Nail Clipper is a beast and he is capable of just about anything, the concern with him is that he can make mistakes in his races and he may get shuffled back early.

Mepunga Hayley is a bit of a money muncher but last time out at Sale she showed that she shouldn't have too much trouble handling the extra journey and from the pink tonight she should be able to jump and run. She has scored some ridiculously fast wins here over the 525m journey and with a clean getaway tonight she should be able to a mammoth lead mid race, she will get a little tired in the run home but she should have enough in the tank.

Allen Gundam has been looking for this journey and he should be steaming home at the end, last time out he finished on well when placed behind the talented High Class over 600m and outside of the pink this isn't a very strong race.

Roethlisberger turned in a strong performance when placed here two runs back and he should be in the mix again, he can bomb the start at times but from the red he should be able to push through into a prominent position in the early stages.

Lites And Sirens must be included in your exotics, she turned in a big performance to score at Cranbourne last time out.

Tureaud was absolutely stunning in his 29.72 heat win last week and I'm tipping him to go on and win the series. He made his debut here last week and he looked quite lost as they went through the first bend so with a good getaway again tonight I'm expecting him to maybe find another length or so. There is a bit of speed drawn on his outside but if he gets away with them on terms he should have enough natural speed to hold them out.

Axis Bale looks well placed in the red draw and he has proven that he can run time when he lands on the bunny. With a wide runner drawn on his outside, he should get a fairly clear passage as they head into the first bend and that should allow him to settle in the top three as they head to the back straight.

Duomo Bale is another exciting prospect and he looked super impressive when scoring at in 25.71 two runs back, he is going to need luck from the wide draw but if he gets it he should be a major player.

Prescribe is a gun Tassie chaser and he has the speed to make an impact, he trialled in good fashion here before the start of the series and he must be respected at nice odds here.

10FEARLESS JOHN [5]Res.1226430.40(2)J Hunt (Lara)

Dyna Villa is the reigning champion and he should make light work of this lineup. After a disappointing placing in the Hobart Thousand Final, he returned to form with a dazzling 29.67 heat win. He is probably better suited to a wider draw but there isn't a lot of speed drawn around him so with a good getaway he should have the speed to drive through and lead and if he finds the bunny I can't see anything reeling him in.

Ikaku Bale was far from disgraced when placed behind Tureaud last week and he will continue to improve with more racing, his box manners have been good in his past two starts and if he can show similar early speed tonight he should put himself into contention as they negotiate the first turn.

Charleston is an improving type and after two looks at the track he should be ready to put it altogether, he can miss at times but there is no speed around him so he should get plenty of room to muster speed.

Dyna Vikkers is the only other chance, he is another who continues to get better with racing and if the favourite happens to make some mistakes he could be there to capitalise at nice odds.

Dyna Kayla is a star talent and she showed at Sale that she is back to her brilliant best when posting a sizzling 37.11 win two runs back. She does her best racing when she can dictate the terms out in front and with average beginners drawn underneath her she should get every chance to drive through and assume control. She has a slick 42.63 PB here so if she does find the bunny early she will take a power of beating.

Julie Bale is the interesting runner, she has been freshened up with a couple of sprint races and then last time out she contested a heat of the Sale Cup. Tonight I'm expecting her to settle in the top two early and although she is probably a run short she should still be able to battle on and make an impact.

Starc has the good draw and he has raced well here in the past, two starts back he was far from disgraced when placed behind Dyna Kayla at Sale over the 650m journey.

Shall She Rock rounds out the winning prospects, she has won three of eight here and she is blessed with terrific track sense and she can work her way through a field.

Sisco Rage is racing in dazzling form at present and he should prove very hard to hold out tonight. Two starts back he beat the classy at Sale in 37.38 and in recent months he has shown that he has improved his box manners. If he can step cleanly tonight he should be able to drive through to the early lead and he should prove too good for this lineup.

Echelonic Action is airborne again and with some luck in the first 50m he should be in the finish again. He has won two of his past three starts and both of those wins were at Sandown in a sizzling 34.25, he is likely to settle mid pack tonight but if the gaps open at the right time he will take some holding out.

Rumero Reason is drawn poorly out wide but he has turned in some super efforts of late, if he can find the rail without too much trouble he can run a nice race at good odds.

Smart Maxwell is a front runner and he should be vying for the lead for most of the race, he isn't overly strong so he is likely to get picked off late in the race but he should be good enough to hold on for a place.

10HELLO GOOD BYE [4]Res.5314629.74(4)P Galea (Rosedale)

Kerrigan Bale can be a little hard to follow at times but she loves racing here and she can run time when given a clear run. In November she happened to find the bunny early and she posted a 29.88 win here, tonight she has a few slow beginners drawn on her outside so she should get every chance to repeat that effort.

Maximum Lil is flying of late and she was an explosive 29.86 winner here earlier this month. If she can ping the lids and find the bunny early she will prove hard to run down, it will be interesting to see who leads out of the two and three, I think who holds the lead will get the cash.

Hawk Alone is better than his form reads and with the speed drawn underneath him he should be able to get a nice sit behind the early leaders, he isn't at peak form right now but he should be able to run home into a place.

Musquin Bale keeps on firing and he is aiming for a hat trick of wins, I dont think he has the speed to cross but he is strong and he can take home some of the minor money.

Dyna Double One is the real deal and he appears to have everything you want in a chaser, he has explosive speed once he hits the ground, his mid race speed is phenomenal and he possesses great strength. Last week he had everyone talking when he posted a blinding 29.55 heat win and if he turns in a performance like that again its hard to see him being beaten. There is a bit of concern with the speed drawn on his outside but he is just too good to tip against.

Vapour Lee has the good draw and he might be able to punch through and lead at the first bend, he has proven in his brief career that when he sights the bunny early he is capable of running some very impressive sectionals.

Walt Bale will continue to improve and he is probably a great stayer in the making. With the red expected to lead he should be able to drive through into a prominent position and then make a big impact.

Dyna Alchemist rounds out the genuine winning hopes, he is better suited to a rails draw but he is racing with confidence and he does have the speed to cross in the early stages.

Open race again and I think we can find some value in the middle. Astronomize has only had four race starts but he has scored two brilliant Cannington wins and he should have derived a lot of benefit from the look at the track here last week. He is blessed with brilliant early speed and he is getting stronger with every run, if he can burn them off at the first bend he may just steal the prize at big odds.

Ultima Bale is a speed demon and he should get a clear passage as they head into the first bend, two starts back he set the track alight at with a blistering 25.67 win and if he can bring that type of form to town he will be able to post some ridiculous sectionals.

Above All is a superstar and he is obviously a major contender. Two starts back he captured the Hobart Thousand final in track record time and he made a gun lineup look like a bunch of fifth graders, I'm a little concerned about the draw tonight but if he gets a few breaks early he should be right in the finish.

Polly Bale has always shown great talent and she turned in a great performance to score at Sandown in a slick 29.54. She looks suited by the rails draw and I can see her landing on the bunny and building up a nice lead mid race. She has had one try over this journey and she got a little tired in the run home but I think she will be much better for that run and she should be able finish off a lot better tonight.

Ima Fairytale has won two of four here and she is capable of reeling off impressive sectionals, she was a little disappointing at Sale last time but that was her first look at the track so I'm willing to forgive that run.

Come On Fantasy scored a commanding 34.28 Sandown win last time out and she should prove hard to hold out again, she is getter better with every start and she really hit the line strongly last time out.

Lillycette is a classy Tasmanian chaser and she has won five in a row with one of those efforts being in track record time. If she happens to ping and lead she should give a great sight.

Tough race to finish off the night but I think the speedy Dyna Nico might find the early lead and she may just pinch the race. In recent weeks she has been getting very tired in her races but she has been receiving a fair bit of pressure mid race, tonight I think she can carve them up early and that might allow her to establish a massive lead mid race and that should allow her to hold on in the straight.

Blue Giant is a fierce chaser and with a clear run he will take a power of beating, he is better suited to the provincial tracks but he is blessed with high speed and if the gaps open at the right time he will take a power of beating.

Spring Leaf is flying and she is aiming for a hat trick of wins, if she can hold out Dyna Nico she becomes a genuine winning prospect.

Where's The Surf has a good record here and he should appreciate the drop in class, he will get a nice cart across from Dyna Nico and a return to the winners list will not surprise me.
