Very good race to kick off the night and we see two very smart Interstate raiders set to do battle. Mullaway is a classy Queenslander and he has scored some dazzling wins in his home state to date. Tonight he will be stepping from the front mark and that should allow him to get a fairly cheap lead. This track should suit his racing pattern and he has always been hard to gun down when he lands on the lure.
Luna Jinx has scored some tremendous wins in SA of late and she too will be suited to the front mark, she isn't a brilliant beginner but she does muster well and she will get a clear run early from the pink draw.
Starc has been taking on the counties best stayers and he recently recorded a top placing in the final of the Group One WA Galaxy.
Tears Siam is a big talent but she will need some room in the first 50, she likes to get wide in her races and she doesn't like to be crowded.
Top Four: 4 – 8 – 5 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Mullaway with Sportingbet
Boxed Quinella: 2,4,5,8 ($6 for 100%)

Diva's Shadow is absolutely flying at present and she should prove hard to reel in based on her two explosive Ballarat wins of late. On both occasions she has shown tremendous early speed and she has looked extremely strong in the run home. If she can hold them out early she should be able to get down to around the 29.90 mark and that would be more than enough to score.
Trail Blazing is drawn to get the gun run and he is capable of just about anything on his day. Three starts back he roared to the line when scoring at Bendigo in 23.84 and he has produced some his best performances at this track.
Axis Bale recently returned to form with a strong 29.56 Sandown Park win and he shouldn't be too far away again, he isn't suited by the draw but he can show early speed at times and there doesn't appear to be much pace on his outside.
Recruitment rounds out the chances, he hasn't had much luck since joining the McDonald camp but I'm expecting big improvement out of him tonight.
Top Four: 1 – 2 – 4 – 6
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Diva's Shadow with Sportingbet
Exacta: 1,2/1,2,4,6 ($6 for 100%)

Elfen Bale is armed with explosive early speed and she appears to be improving with every start. Last time out she reeled off brilliant sectionals before being run down in slick time at Ballarat. She isn't overly strong in her races but she is building up strength and she has won here previously in 30.41. This time around I believe she is capable of getting down to the 30 flat mark and that would be enough to score tonight.
Master Tron has plenty of gears but he does rely heavily on luck in his races, four starts back he showed his true ability with a blistering 23.78 Bendigo win. The first 50m is crucial but if he gets a clear run he will take a power of beating.
Tobias Kelton powered to the line in his recent 25.96 Warragul win and if he can get across from the wide draw he will play a major role.
Brown Bomber is a promising speedster and he scored a commanding 25.45 Shepparton win when on debut, this is a step up in class for him but he should be up to the challenge.
Top Four: 1 – 3 – 8 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Elfen Bale with Sportingbet
Boxed Quinella: 1,3,4,8 ($6 for 100%)

Soda Man appears to be the real deal and from the red he should make light work of this lineup. Last time out he showed a tremendous turn of foot soon after box rise before scoring in a sizzling 25.24 at Shepparton. From the red tonight he should be able to punch through early and if he lands on the bunny he will be running some serious time.
Watch My Path continues to race well and she caught the eye when scoring an all the way win here in 30.14. She is going to have to go a bit quicker tonight but if she finds the lead that is beyond her. Cadence Bale can be a little hit or miss early but when she hits she can run some serious time, two starts back she led all the way here in a zippy 30.06 and on that occasion she beat Soda Man. Leopold Bale rounds out the chances, he has won three on end and if he settles in the top three early he should be there at the end.
Top Four: 1 – 6 – 5 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Soda Man with Sportingbet
Exacta: 1,6/1,3,5,6 ($6 for 100%)
Quinella: 1 to rove with 3,5,6 ($3 for 100%)

Azza Azza Azza is in scintillating form and he beat a classy lineup when he captured the Group Two Shepparton Cup last time out. He is awkwardly drawn tonight but he is pinging the lids at present and with a clean getaway tonight he should be able to carve across and assume control at the first bend. He has won in fast time at Sandown previously so he should have no trouble running out the journey.
Sisco Rage is another who is racing in tremendous form and if he can find the rail early he will play a major role. He has been charging to the line in his recent races and he is much better suited to this journey.
Weblec Belle is much better than her recent form reads and if she can improve her box manners she will be right in the mix, she is likely to be over the odds and she might be worth an each way ticket.
Mepunga Moss is another who is better than her form reads and she comes into calculations from the good draw, she will need to hold them out too win and if she does she is capable of running highly competitive sectionals.
Top Four: 6 – 8 – 5 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Trifecta: 5,6,8/1,5,6,8/1,3,5,6,7,8 ($36 for 100%)

Quick Succession is normally a faultless beginner and with a clean getaway tonight she should be able to carve across to the early lead. She hasn't been able to lead in her most recent efforts and that has made things difficult for her, in the past she has broken the 30 second barrier when she has been able to lead them up.
Spring Leaf is a class act and her win at Wentworth Park two runs back in 29.50 was eye popping. The box draw doesn't really suit her tonight but if she can step cleanly she should be able to settle in a prominent position early.
Zeppelin Bale has a great record here and he should run a cheeky race at odds, this is a big class rise but the seven should give him a nice cart across in the early stages.
Midnight Flynn rounds out the chances, he has won here previously in a sizzling 29.84 and with an ounce of luck early he will take a power of beating.
Top Four: 5 – 3 – 8 – 4

Untraceable has been back to his brilliant best in recent weeks and from the red he should get the job done, he is likely to be short odds but this is the weakest race he has contested for a while and he is drawn to lead throughout. He has won four of ten here and he could probably even go a tad quicker than his 34.24 PB with a clear run in the early stages.
He Isn't Really is drawn to follow the red through at the first bend and he is capable of causing an upset, two starts back he beat a handy lineup at Sandown in 34.51 and a repeat performance will see him put some heat on the favourite.
Coulta Rock is the only other chance, he is never far away in his races and he has scored some very fast wins over this distance range.
If you're looking for another place chance, if might be worth including Sisco Wake, he will bomb the start but he should work home nicely.

Dyna Villa is an absolute freak and prior to his Shepparton Cup defeat he had been almost faultless in his career to date. He has a tremendous record over this journey and from the red he should be able to lead from go to whoa. There are a couple of handy ones in this event but he is drawn to get the job done with ease.
Kerrigan Bale is in career best form and she was unlucky in the recent NSW Futurity Final, she is better suited to a rails draw but if she can step cleanly she should have enough speed to get across into a threatening position.
Mepunga Armagh is resuming after a few months off and he should be primed for a bold first up showing, he should show plenty of early speed but in this company he may get a little tired in the concluding stages.
Musquin Bale has been a great chaser for quite a while and he is always a chance in these types of races, I dont think he can win but he is a must for the exotics.

Very open race and there are a couple making their middle distance debut. I've decided to go with the pink, three starts back he posted a smart 28.26 Bendigo win and he followed that up with two solid efforts at Shepparton over the 650m journey. He is better suited back to 600m and he won't find an easier race in town.
Girthy is much better than her form indicates and she might be suited to the rise in distance, two runs back she turned in a solid placing at Sale over 440m and if she finds the lure early tonight she will give a great sight at odds.
Jokowi continues to improve and he hit the line well enough in his win here last time over 525m to suggest that the 600m journey will suit. He will need some luck from the middle pin but he can show early speed at times.
Ulala Bale rounds out the chances, she is getting better with every start and she beat a smart type at Horsham last start in 32.96.

Peregon Falcon is a super talent and he should be highly competitive in this event. He is drawn poorly in the six but he does possess a wonderful turn of foot and if he is given room to show it he should be able to burn them off in the run to the first turn. He also showed last time at Bendigo that he is capable of running a strong 500m.
Blistering Bob should be suited to the red draw and he has the speed to hold them out early, he has been placed in one of his two tries here and if he can sight the bunny early he will be running some time on the lure.
Enrica Bale is a bit hit or miss early but when he pings he is capable of good things, he has won here previously in a zippy 30.05 and a similar effort tonight would see him figure in the finish.
Top Four: 6 – 1 – 5 – 8

Just A Taste is currently in career best form and he is drawn to settle in the top two early. Last time out he beat a handy lineup at Geelong in a sizzling 25.70 and that type of effort would see him get down to the 30 flat mark here. He has been placed in one of his two tries here and if he crosses the red early he may be off and gone down the back straight.
Targaryen is a promising speedster and he appears to be going from strength to strength. After scoring here in a solid 30.56, he showed a heap of improvement with a slick 30.13 win here last week.
Punk Panther turned in a great performance when placed at Sandown Park two runs back and he has scored some top country wins in his career to date, the box draw is a bit of a worry but if he gets room to muster he should put himself into contention.
Top Four: 2 – 5 – 8 – 1

Amaro Bale has a great record here and he really caught the eye when finishing just outside the placings at Shepparton last time out. He isn't a great beginner but he does muster speed quickly and he has very little speed drawn on his outside, so he should be afforded a clear run and he will take a power of beating.
Udon Bale is another who does his best racing here and he will be charging home at the end, he is suited to the rails draw and he only needs an ounce of luck early to feature.
Jindara is well drawn and he was a slick 28.07 Bendigo winner two runs back, he didn't have much luck in his debut here last time and he should show improvement on that run.
Top Four: 7 – 2 – 1 -3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Amaro Bale with Sportingbet
