Mepunga Mia has won three of her six starts to date in impressive fashion and one of those victories came here in a very zippy 30.01. On that occasion she flew to the first turn and she increased her lead with every stride before going on to score by a whopping 13 lengths. She is better suited to a rails draw but she has a heap of natural early speed and she should have enough zip to get across.

Hilda's Best is another who is armed with early speed and he has the advantage of the red draw. He lacks the talent of Mepunga Mia but if he can hold them out early he might be able to build up a nice lead mid race.

Dyna Chaser is much better than his recent form reads and if he is given some room in the early stages he will take a power of beating. Lately his slow starts have cost him dearly, so he will need to mend his box manners.

Electric Eagle is the interesting runner, she is in good hands and she comes here with strong NSW trial and race form.

Very good race and I think we can find some value with the highly talented Ronaldo Magic. He was run down in his heat but on that occasion he was slow to begin and he had to work overtime mid race to get into contention. He is normally a much better beginner than that and if he can step cleanly tonight he has a great chance of leading and he will be running time on the .

Duomo Bale appears to be the real deal having won six of his first seven starts. He is obviously a major contender again tonight but there is a fair bit of speed in this event and he will need a few things to go his way in the initial stages.

Hallelujah Lucy showed smart early speed in her top 30.12 heat win and a repeat of that effort will see her feature again.

Setsuna Bale could be the value in the event, she stormed home to win her heat and although she is going to be better suited over longer trips in the future, she can still run home into a place tonight.

Star Recall is a star sprinter and she shouldn't have too much trouble with the step up to 600m. She recently contested the Group One Final and she appears to have panels on these. Being a fast beginner, she should be able to burn them off in the first 40m and she should a mammoth lead mid race.

Grand Legacy is an interesting runner, he has the ability to ping the lids and he has proven in the past that he is capable of running time on the bunny. If you go back through his form, he has a blistering 25.14 win to his credit and that type of effort would see him be highly competitive in this.

Dyna Orion is dropping back to a more suitably journey tonight and if the two front runners have trouble running out the journey, he should be waiting to pick them off in the home straight. He needs a few things to go his way but if the gaps open at the right time he can feature at nice odds.

Razldazl Pacino is an intriguing runner, he hails from Ireland and he is now in the care of Kelvyn Greenough, his numeric form in his homeland reads well and I'm sure that his would have him primed for a bold first up showing.

Another good race and I think the likely favourite Space Star is the lay of the night. I am his biggest fan but I think the bend start and the inside draw are big disadvantages and he is going to be giving some talented chasers an almighty head start.

Mystic Twist should settle in the top two and she has won here previously in solid time. Two starts back she beat Blinker's On at Sandown over 715m and her first 600m of that race was super impressive.

Tick Bale has shown a little bit of improvement in recent weeks and the red draw is a big plus for him. From the inside he should be able to poke through early and settle in a much more prominent position, he has proven in the past that he is capable of running very fast splits when given room to gallop.

Space Star is an absolute freak and if he gets through the first turn unscathed he will simply win, however his racing pattern suggests that he will get spat out the back early and he will need a lot of things to go his way.

April Rose is another who will settle on the speed and she should give a great sight, she will struggle in the closing stages but she might be able to hold on for a place.

Zambora Magic can be very hard to follow at times but there is no doubting his talent. From the red tonight he should be able to drive through at the first bend and if he can hold them out he should prove far too strong for his rivals. Two starts back he was a sizzling 30.05 Cranbourne winner and that form is hard to ignore.

Bit Berger has been racing in great style of late and she made Joey Valdez work overtime for victory last time out at Cranbourne. She should be able to settle in the top two again and she is quite strong in the run home these days.

Dyna Glinda has been beginning a lot better of late and she should put herself into contention in the early stages, she appears to be lacking a little bit of strength at present but she must be included in your exotic bets.

Trail Blazing turned in a big performance when placed here last week and he has a solid record from this draw, if he can begin a little better tonight he should give a great sight at nice odds.

Starc was far from disgraced when narrowly beaten in his heat last week and from the pink draw tonight I am expecting him to go one better. He can show good early speed in his races and if he can get across from the pink draw he should be able to carve them up as they head through the first bend.

Zipping Felix is probably the big improver from last weeks heats. He was making his 725m debut last week and he hit the line in good style, if he can settle in the first half he should be able to make an impact as they head for home.

Julie Bale caught the eye with an all the way heat win in 42.55, her winning time was very impressive but my concern is that she is going to have a fair bit of pressure applied mid race and she might not be able to hang on tonight.

Lady Toy has been placed in three of four here and she must always be included in your exotic bets, whilst Love Affair is well drawn out wide and she can't be left out of your quaddies.

Heaps Of Ability was extremely disappointing last time out but I'm still willing to give him . Four starts back he set the Cranbourne track alight with a blistering 41.35 victory, he is ideally placed in the wide draw and if he reproduces that type of effort he should win by panels.

Echelonic Action should be suited by the drop in class and I'm expecting him to settle in a much more prominent position. Two starts back he powered to the line when winning here over 600m and he really looks well placed here.

Reap The Benefit was handily placed behind the classy Sweet It Is in the Bold Trease last time out and he shouldn't be too far away again. The red draw should suit and he appears to be getting better and stronger with every run over this distance range.

Global Lad is making his staying debut, his effort last time out at over 650m suggests that he should be competitive over this journey.

8HAWK ALONE [3]2325530.04(1)A Dailly (Anakie)

Hawk Alone hasn't had much luck in his most recent efforts and I'm expecting a much improved effort tonight. He is all class and he has won four of 16 over this journey, he normally begins fairly but he does possess solid early speed and he is blessed with great track sense. So if he can get through the first turn he should prove extremely hard to hold out.

Buckle Up Mason is another who is down on form and confidence and will be looking for a return to the winners list. He has won 14 of 39 here, so it is evident that he saves his best racing for this circuit. There is a little bit of speed underneath him but with a clean getaway he is good enough to burn them off.

Empire Allen is armed with great mid race speed and if he can settle in the top three early he can run a big race at odds, the box draw is against him tonight but he is likely to be over the odds.

Humphrey Bale is another track specialist and he rounds out the chances, he does his best racing when settling near the speed so he will need to do everything right in the early stages.

Hostile has been racing in devastating fashion of late and he appears suited to the rise in journey. He is normally a safe beginner and with very little speed drawn around him, he should be afforded all the breaks as they head into the first bend. Three starts ago he flew around Sandown Park in 29.28 and a repeat of that performance would see him get down to the low 34 mark here.

Shall She Rock didn't have much luck here last week and she should show improvement. I'm expecting her to miss away and that should allow her to lob onto the rail and then drive into a prominent position mid race.

Dewana Lass does her best racing at this venue and she is suited by the wide draw, she has very little speed drawn on her outer so that should allow her to get a clear run as they negotiate the first turn.

Rockin' Josie rounds out the chances, she has the good draw and she is aiming for a hat trick of wins, this is clearly a rise in class but she is good enough to match it with these.

Bookkeeper's form doesn't read that well at present but two starts back he led for a long way when reeled in late by the classy Oscura. Prior to that he had been struggling for a while but I think that was the confidence booster he needed. Tonight I'm expecting him to pounce to pounce on the bunny early and he will prove extremely hard to gun down.

Dyna Kayla was far from disgraced at Sandown last time when resuming from a spell and she is probably better suited back to this journey. She has won two of three here and her PB of 34.24 is very impressive.

He Isn't Really is the value, he has won three of four over this trip and from the red he should find himself in a more threatening position early in the race.

Smoken Jimmy is an exciting prospect and if he reproduces his last start 29.62 win he will take a power of beating. In his brief career to date he has displayed good box manners and he possesses a great turn of foot, if he is given a little room in the first 50m he should be able to put on a great display of speed.

Bunga Bunga has the favourable draw and she showed her three runs back when winning at Cranbourne in a speedy 30.25. From the red she should hold a prominent position early and she will prove very hard to hold out.

Allen Icarus has been placed in eight of 14 here and he possesses early speed, he doesn't win all that often but he is never far away.

White Walker could be the value in the event, he is much better than his form reads and if a few things go his way early he is more than capable of winning a race like this.

The Meadows – Race 12 – 5th Grade – 525 metres

Tricky Rose looks well placed in the pink draw tonight and she recently beat a handy lineup when posting a solid 30.37 victory here. She races best when she can find the bunny early and with two keen railers drawn directly underneath she should be afforded all the breaks as they head into the first turn.

Red Superman has a heap of talent and if he can get a few breaks early he will take a power of beating. He is normally steady away and that should allow him to find the rail soon after the start and he should drive himself into a prominent position mid race.

Tekki Minx has recorded three handy placings here recently and she shouldn't be too far away again, I dont think she can win but she should be great value for the place.

Dyna Lemmy probably has the class edge but he can be unreliable, from box six he will need everything to go right early.
