Race 1 – 725M Handicap – 7:15PM

Good quality race to open the night and I have decided to go with the front marker Zipping Rory. From the front mark he should have sufficient speed to find the early lead and if he reproduces the effort which saw him win at recently in 41.83 they won't get anywhere near him. He has raced here over 525m, so he is familiar with the track and he should have no trouble handling it. If you can get around the $3.20 mark that is great value.

Know Class is also off the front mark and his recent form is very hard to ignore. He has produced some quality efforts at of late and off the front mark he should find himself in the first two of three at the first turn. Luna Jinx and Infinite Wish obviously have the class edge but they will both be giving the outside division a little head start. Of the two, I think Infinite Wish is the better chance, she has been racing in super fashion of late behind Xylia Allen.

Top Four: 6 – 7 – 2 – 5

Suggested Bets:

Win bet on Zipping Rory

Trifecta: 2,6,7/2,6,7/Field ($30 for 100%)

Exacta: 6,7/2,5,6,7 ($6 for 100%)

Race 2 – 525M Maiden Final – 7:38PM

Last week in the heats we saw a future star go around in Eliza Blanche. After a handy getaway she carved across to the rail and then showed an explosive turn of foot before scoring in a breathtaking 29.84. To put that time into perspective, on the same day, the better class dogs were struggling to get to the 30.20 mark. Box two should suit her tonight and she has slow beginners drawn either side, it will be interesting to see if this star in the making can go even quicker.

Dyna Construct showed great improvement in his heat when scoring a strong 30.45 win. On that occasion he was slow to begin but off the back straight he really hit his straps. He is obviously looking for further but he can still make his presence felt. Phenom Bale is another promising type and he scored an all the way heat win in 30.54 and he was also impressively placed at Sandown in good time prior to that.

Top Four: 2 – 7 – 3 – 8

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 2/3,7,8/Field ($6 for 100%)

Trifecta: 2/3,7,8/3,7,8 ($6 for 100%)

Trifecta: 2/3,7/1,3,5,7,8 ($8 for 100%)

Race 3 – 525M Grade 5 – 7:57PM

Kerrigan Bale has shown that she has explosive talent, however she has proven to be very hard to follow. Last week she was fair to begin and went to the first marker in 5.17 before going down by a length in solid time. Tonight off the red I think she can go a little quicker to the first marker and if she is on the bunny she should be able to go sub 30 seconds. Her chances hinge on her ability to come out on terms with the rest of the field.

Seabrook Sam is another exciting prospect and his past two wins at Warrnambool have been brilliant. Both times he in second spot and in the home straight he went into overdrive before scoring two sizzling wins. He is stepping up to 500m for the first time but he has won at over the 480m so he shouldn't have any trouble getting the extra journey. It really does look to be a race in two, however if you're looking for a blowout chance, American Muscle could be the one. He has been placed in his two tries here and he is capable of running very fast times, however the only knock on him is that he can bomb the start at times.

Top Four: 1 – 2 – 4 – 5

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 1/2,4,5/Field ($18 for 100%)

Trifecta: 1/2,4,5/2,4,5 ($6 for 100%)

Trifecta: 1,2/1,2/Field ($12 for 100%)

Race 4 – 600M Grade 5 – 8:20PM

Wide open affair but I'm a big fan of QLD stayer Hougenie and I think from the red box she may be able to punch through and lead at the first bend. Last start she came from a long way back to score at Albion Park in 35.59, the time wasn't flash but the manner in which she won was impressive. She has shown previously that she does have some early dash and tonight she has the benefit of a slow beginner and wide runner drawn directly outside her. I think if you can get $4.50 or better that is great value.

Fearless Bert is an enormous talent and he would have any runner in this event covered by 5 lengths in a match race, however he has terrible box manners and he will be desperate to get out wide at the first turn. Clearly box two doesn't suit but I think he is good enough to still feature if he finds a little bit of trouble in the early stages. Rumero Reason was a strong 34.75 win here in June and he has been placed in four of five overall over this trip. The first 60m is crucial for him as he is slow to begin but if he can find the fence without too much trouble he should be in the mix at the end.

Top Four: 1 – 2 – 5 – 6

Suggested Bets:

Win bets on Hougenie and Fearless Bert (should double your money)

Trifecta: 1,2,5/1,2,5/1,2,5,6,7,8 ($24 for 100%)

Exacta: 1,2/1,2,5,6 ($6 for 100%)

Trifecta: 1,2/1,2/Field ($12 for 100%)

Race 5 – 525M Grade 4 – 8:40PM

The classy Allen Malik has been racing in devastating fashion of late at Warragul and I think he should be able to bring that form to town. Three starts ago he showed a sizzling turn of foot soon after boxrise before scoring a blistering 25.71 Warragul win and from the pink draw tonight he should get enough room early to muster speed and should be able to carve across to the early lead. He has won here previously in 30.33, but he has improved a lot since then and he should be able to get down to the 29.90 mark with a clear run.

Dyna Orion is perfectly placed in the red and he is much better than his recent form appears. In recent times he has been drawn poorly and his slow beginnings have given him no chance in his races, from the red he should be able to settle a little closer to the speed and with only a little trouble in running he should be able to regain some confidence. Missile Flash returned to form last time with a sizzling 29.57 Sandown Park win and she returns to a track where she has been placed in four of five starts with two of these being wins.

Top Four: 8 – 1 – 2 – 3

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 8/1,2,3/Field ($18 for 100%)

Exacta: 1,2,8/1,2,3,8 ($9 for 100%)

Place bet on Dyna Orion (might get even money or better and he really is drawn to improve)

Boxed Quinella: 1,2,8 ($3 for 100%)

Race 6 – 525M Grade 5 Final – 8:57PM

Wide open affair but I think Especially showed enough last week to suggest that she is back to her brilliant best. After a long run of outs, she pinged the lids last week and after going through the first section in a speedy 5.06 she never looked back. Her winning time of 30.12 was impressive enough and I think now that she has her confidence back she can go even quicker. There are quite a few front runners in this, so if she does punch through and lead it should be all over.

Mepunga Fearon has won four on end and he too is ideally drawn close to the fence. Last week he came from off the speed to score in a handy 30.18, obviously he can go much faster than that and if he can follow Especially through in the initial stages he will make his presence felt. Hellyeah Bolt is a gun Tasmanian chaser and he turned in a monster performance to win his heat in 30.09. The only concern with him is that he appears to have lost a little bit of his early zip. Galahad does his best racing here and he could cause an upset at big odds.

Top Four: 1 – 2 – 3 – 6

Suggested Bets:

Exacta: 1,2/1,2,3,6 ($6 for 100%)

Trifecta: 1,2,3/1,2,3/Field ($30 for 100%)

Boxed Quinella: 1,2,3 ($3 for 100%)

Race 7 – 600M Mixed 4/5 – 9:20PM

Rebelation's form doesn't appear too flash but he has been racing in much stronger company of late and he is drawn to get the gun run tonight. With Allen Orville expected to lead from the red, Rebelation should be able to follow him through at the first turn and from there on he should prove too strong for the red in the run home. If you can get around $3.50 or better that is good value.

Allen Orville as stated earlier is expected to lead early and he should give a great sight. He is yet to win here in ten tries over this trip, however the majority of those efforts have been in much stronger company. He should have enough left in the tank to hold on for the quinella spot. is a non-winner but he is never far away in these types of races. He will get a long way back early but I expect him to be charging home late and he can sneak into a place.

Top Four: 2 – 1 – 4 – 7

Suggested Bets:

Win bet on Rebelation

Boxed Quinella: 1,2,4 ($3 for 100%)

Trifecta: 1,2/1,2/Field ($12 for 100%)

Trifecta: 2/1,4,7/Field ($18 for 100%)

Race 8 – 525M Free For All – 9:40PM

Another high quality affair with numerous chances. I think track specialist Marcus Joe might be able to get the job done tonight. He has won six of his 13 tries here and he has a ridiculous PB of 29.66. Last start at Sandown he resumed from a spell with a handy placing and was probably a bit unlucky not to win the event. Soon after boxrise he looked for the fence and encountered some trouble and from there on he lost quite a fair bit of , however he still managed to hit the line in good style. I think he should be able to cross to the lead tonight and he will take some running down.

Ride The Rails is a great talent and he only needs an ounce of luck to feature. He has a great record over this track and with a clean getaway he should be able to follow Marcus Joe across in the early stages. Crackerjack Dak is another who excels at this venue and he has been in scintillating form of late. The only concern with him is that he does his best racing when on the bunny and tonight's field features an abundance of early speed, therefore he may have trouble getting across.

Top Four: 5 – 6 – 7 – 4

Suggested Bets:

Win bet on Marcus Joe

Boxed Quinella: 5,6,7 ($3 for 100%)

Exacta: 5,6/4,5,6,7 ($6 for 100%)

Race 9 – 525M Mixed 4/5 – 10:05PM

Yakamov Bale has been racing in good fashion of late and he has speed to burn. Four starts ago he led throughout at Geelong in 29.85 and on that occasion he defeated a quality line-up. He should have sufficient speed to boot through at the first bend and he should be able to run around the 30.10 mark on the bunny. It is a pretty even line-up so you should be able to snag around $4.50 or better.

Dyna Beth has shown glimpse of her best form in recent starts and tonight she appears suitably drawn because she has slow beginners on either side. Last week she hit the line solidly when placed here and she is good enough to go one better. Push It is a gun NSW speedster who has been taking all before her in her home state. She is known for her devastating early pace, however sometimes I have concerns with interstate visitors and I believe they can take a run or two before they show their best. She would have to ping and cross to have any chance tonight.

Top Four: 1 – 3 – 2 – 6

Suggested Bets:

Win bet on Yakamov Bale

Boxed Quinella: 1,2,3 ($3 for 100%)

Trifecta: 1,2,3/1,2,3/Field ($30 for 100%)

Race 10 – 525M Grade 5 – 10:25PM

All Strung Out is a superstar in the making and although doesn't really suit his racing style, he should be good enough to get the cash tonight. He's recorded three consecutive placings and in all of them he has powered to the line and gone down narrowly in blistering times. He should be able to find the rails in the early stages tonight and with an ounce of luck he should make light work of these.

Reckless Brown has been racing in consistent style and he has an abundance of early speed. Last week he recorded a zippy 5.01 to the first marker, a repeat of that will see him lead with ease. His last 50m is always questionable but he is likely to be a long way in front early. Rustic Rocket and Jersey Jack are chances but both will require a lot of luck in the early stages, if Rustic Rocket can getaway cleanly he should be right in the mix.

Top Four: 3 – 8 – 6 – 2

Suggested Bets:

Win bet on All Strung Out

Trifecta: 3,8/3,8/Field ($12 for 100%)

Boxed Quinella: 3,6,8 ($3 for 100%)

Race 11 – 525M Grade 5 – 10:42PM

Fort Allen showed his traditional early pace here last week and was only gunned down in the shadows of the post. From the red tonight he should be able to hold the early lead and I would expect him to go one better. He has a top record at this venue and he is very consistent, he should go around at the $4.50 mark and will give you a great sight.

Time is another who will be settling on the speed and he appears well drawn out wide. He has two slow beginners drawn underneath and that should allow him to get across in the early stages. His form isn't too crash hot at present so you may get big over's about him. Cairnlea Ellie and Jack Silver are both racing quite well and if they get a few favours in running they can also feature in the finish.

Top Four: 1 – 8 – 5 – 6

Suggested Bets:

Win bets on Fort Allen and National Time

Boxed Quinella: 1,5,8 ($3 for 100%)

Trifecta: 1/5,6,8/Field ($18 for 100%)

Race 12 – 525M Grade 5 – 11:00PM

Tough race to finish the night but I think the perfectly drawn Dyna Evy can get us out on the right note. From the red she should be able to anticipate the start a little better and she will have sufficient speed to hold her spot at the first bend. She has won here previously in 30.24, but with a trouble free run she can go much quicker than that.

Blurred Lines is a reliable beginner and he has scored two handy Sandown Park wins of late, he doesn't have a whole heap of speed drawn around him and should get a clear run as they head into the first bend. If I think Dyna Evy is the winner, then Dyna Fulcrum must also be respected. On the assumption that Dyna Evy can hold the lead, Dyna Fulcrum should be able to follow her through at the first bend. He is very strong in the run to the line and he only needs an ounce of luck to feature. Bobby Blanco comes here with strong NSW form but I don't think The Meadows will suit his racing pattern.

Top Four: 1 – 5 – 2 – 3

Suggested Bets:

Win bet on Dyna Evy

Boxed Quinella: 1,2,5 ($3 for 100%)

Exacta: 1,5/1,2,3,5 ($6 for 100%)

Trifecta: 1,2,5/1,2,5/Field ($30 for 100%)

Quaddie

Leg 1: 1,2,8
Leg 2: 1,2,3,6
Leg 3: 1,2
Leg 4: 5,6,7

$72 for 100%

Best Bet:
Race 3 Kerrigan Bale

Best Roughie:
Race 6 Galahad
