Flame Bale is showing a fair bit of promise and if she can reproduce the effort which saw her win here in 30.53 recently she should take a power of beating. In her past three starts here she has posted 5.15 to the first marker here and that would be enough for her to hold the early lead.

Sisco Pure has won two in a row here and although the times haven't been flashy, the manner in which she hit the line was very impressive. If you go back through her form, she was beaten by only four lengths behind the classy Top Secret at in very fast time. Laurie's Chance has been placed in his two tries here and he should be hitting the line solidly, he will need a few breaks in running but this isn't a strong race and he should be able to make an impact. Soul Maker could be the surprise packet, she is much better than her form suggests and this is the easiest race she has contested for quite a while.

Tekki China was never out of trouble last time and two runs back he really caught the eye when scoring a brilliant 23.35 Horsham win. On that occasion he showed good early speed and he appeared to hit the line with a fair bit in hand. If he can find the early lead tonight he should take a power of beating.

Run Angel Run has won three of her six tries here and she is capable of running time on the bunny, there isn't a whole heap of speed drawn underneath her and if she steps cleanly she should be able to cross. Dr. Rahoual should be good value and he shouldn't be too far away based on his commanding 34.56 Sandown Park win two runs back. Lektra Outlaw will be short odds but from the red I think he is a risk, so far in his brief career he has wanted to race wide for most of the journey and from the red he may get buried back in the initial stages.

Reen's Fabian has been racing well without winning of late and tonight he is drawn to get all the breaks. With Miss Society expected to lead, he should be able to drop onto the rail behind her in the early stages and he should prove far too strong in the run home. Last start he sat behind the classy Duchess Bale and ran her to a nose, this race is a lot easier and there should be no excuses for him tonight.

Miss Society has the good draw and she should set a cracking pace. Her run home times aren't great but her recent efforts show that she is becoming stronger and she should be able to hang in for a lot longer. Global Lad has a tonne of ability but he can be hard to follow at times. Last start at Horsham he showed his true capabilities when he destroyed a solid field and posted a ridiculous 32.25. He has won here previously and if he can cross early he should run a bottler. Oxley Major is another who races well here and he should appreciate the drop in class, he has been placed in his past two starts and he appears to be regaining confidence.

Jayney Bale is quite inexperienced but in her brief career she has shown that she has tremendous talent. Last week in her heat she mustered pace very quickly before going on to record a brilliant 30.35 victory. She appears to be getting stronger with every run and if she happens to find the early lead I can see her getting down to around the 30.15 mark.

Ding's Chance has a big engine but he isn't always reliable, last week he overcame a slow start when placed in his heat and with a few breaks in running he may be able to go one better. Julie Bale loves racing over this track and trip and she really motored to the line in her 30.31 heat victory. She is likely to get a long way back early but if some gaps open up at the right time she should be able to capitalise. Radinka Bale is the speed in the race, she posted a zippy 5.05 to the first marker here last week and a repeat of that run would see her lead in the early stages, her last 100m isn't great but she might be able to hold on for a place.

Skyfire has come up with the good draw and with a wide runner drawn directly outside he should get all the breaks. Two starts ago he posted a strong placing at Sandown Park and he then followed that up with an unlucky heat placing at Bendigo, both efforts where from unsuitable draws and there should be no excuses for him tonight.

Quick Kisses posted a very zippy 28.04 Bendigo heat win and if she can get some luck in the first 50m she should be right in the mix, her box manners are normally ok and she can muster pace quickly in her races. Bing's Bro is expected to start favourite and he is showing plenty of promise, he was the fastest heat winner but my only concern with him is that he has struggled here in the past. Pocket Kings could be the value, he is aiming for a hat trick of wins and he appears to be improving with every run.

8FLYING TWIST [5]54231FSTDA Dailly (Anakie)

Flying Twist broke through for a well deserved win at Sandown last time and she should continue on her winning way. After a good getaway she reeled off slick sectionals before stopping the clock in a sizzling 41.90 and in the process she also took care of the highly exciting Blinker's On. From the good draw tonight she should have no trouble getting across and she should prove too classy for these.

Starc is another promising stayer and his effort two runs back behind Ruff Cut Diamond was more than handy, he has been beginning a lot better of late and he should match motors with Flying Twist for most of the journey. Shall She Rock is expected to start favourite and she is racing well, however this is the strongest field she has faced to date over this trip and I wouldn't be willing to take short odds. She must be included in your exotics but I'm not convinced about her winning chances. Abbey's Hand is the interesting runner, she is making her staying debut and her racing pattern suggests that she should run out the trip, be sure to include her in your wide quaddies.

Rockin' Josie is stepping up in class but she is drawn to make every post a winner, two runs back she bounced on the bunny and never looked back when posting a brilliant 34.24 Sandown Park win. With a similar getaway and effort tonight, it is very hard to see her being run down in the closing stages.

Sisco Rage returned to form with a brilliant 30.27 sprint win here and he looks ready for the step up in distance again. He can be slow to begin but he does muster speed very quickly and the wide draw does suit. If he can get through the first turn unscathed he should play a major role. Tick Bale and Dyna Glinda are two runners who are much better than their recent form suggests and if either one of them happen to get some luck in running they have the talent to cause a boil over.

Great race and I've decided to go with Banjo Boy, he was beaten when resuming from a spell but he didn't have any luck at all in the early stages but he still managed to pick himself up and hit the line hard. With a railer drawn underneath he should get a little more room in the early stages and I can see him finding the lead as they head into the first turn. He has raced well here in the past, so if he does lead they will have their work cut out picking him up.

Hostile is a freakish talent but I don't like him from the wide draw, he is still a winning chance but he will need a lot of things to go his way in the early stages. Crawf's Bread is ultra consistent and he should settle in the top two like usual, I don't think he can hold off some of the stronger types but he will still be good enough to hold on for a place. Dyna Yemen is an excitement machine and he is aiming for five in a row, with a clean getaway he is more than capable of achieving this feat. Bookkeeper is a class act resuming from a spell but he has been injury prone and I am willing to risk him at the short odds.

Enormous class drop for Tiggerlong Amigo and he looks perfectly placed in the wide draw. He has been placed in all three of his runs here and he has been beginning a lot better in his recent efforts. Two starts ago he showed that he was back to his brilliant best when posting a sizzling 29.52 Sandown Park win. If you can land $2.40 or better I suggest you jump all over it.

Billy Buzzard has been racing a little below his best of late but this track should suit him and he should give a great sight on the bunny, the last 60m will test him but he should be able to hold on for a place. Allen Gizmo has a great record here and he shouldn't be too far away again, he can run around the 5.10 mark to the first turn and that should allow him to settle somewhere near the lead. Dyna Zod is more than capable on his night, I would prefer him from a rails draw but if he gets a nice cart across he may be able to get into contention mid race.

Punk Pirate is blessed with a heap of talent and he turned in a big performance when placed here two runs back. He can be a tad slow to begin at times but he does muster speed at a great rate and with a clear passage in the first 50m he should be able to make a big impact. He has a solid 30.34 PB over this journey but with a clear run he is capable of getting down to around the 30.05 mark.

Sig Sauer has been placed in his two tries here and he showed solid early speed here last week. If he can show similar early speed tonight he should be able to settle in the top two early and he will be right in the mix. Surf Jester can be hard to follow at times but after a last start 29.88 Sandown Park win he should be racing with much more confidence. Tekki Minx has the good draw and if she can hold her spot at the first bend she can fill a placing.

Missile Flash really caught the eye when placed at two runs back and she gets her chance to return to the winners list from the favourable red draw. On that occasion she matched motors with the exciting There's A Earn for most of the trip and if she showed similar speed tonight she should be able to a big lead mid race.

Upset Boy has turned in some monster efforts at Cranbourne of late and if he can get through the first bend unscathed he will be a major player. He has been placed in seven of his 14 tries here, so he is never far away. Dr. Des should get plenty of room to muster from the pink draw and he has a solid 30.22 PB here, if he goes around at silly odds he may be worth a saver bet. Cobra Bale is going to be under the odds but he is racing well at present, he must be included in your exotic bets.

Race 12 – 525M Grade 5 – 11:02PM

Dyna Keitaro showed smart early speed and led for a long way here last week when reeled in late by the brilliant Above All. He posted a 5.07 to the first marker in last week's effort and if he can repeat that he should be able to cross and lead from go to whoa.

Airbound is the run on dog in the event, he has been placed in all four tries here and with the speed drawn underneath he should get a clear passage in the first 70m. Wait Til Dark recently scored a sizzling 25.71 Geelong win and he has a consistent record here, he can show early speed in his races so I expect him to be prominent throughout. None Of Them rounds out the chances, he was a strong 25.12 winner two runs back and this track should suit his racing pattern.
