Race 2: Banjo Bewdy
Banjo Bewdy hadn't raced for over six months when resuming at The Meadows last Saturday but her connections had her fully primed and she showed blistering speed when scoring in 30.07. Her first two sectionals were off the charts and if she shows that type of speed tonight she should be off and gone as they head to the back straight and she should go on to score quite easily. She will start around the even money mark and she looks a safe bet.

Race 7: Cosmic Angel
Cosmic Angel is a former star chaser and although he hasn't won in his past five starts, he finds himself in a fairly weak race tonight and if he can happen to time the start he will give a great sight at odds. He is currently $26 with Bet365 and that is well over the odds. There is very little speed drawn underneath him, so if he can step cleanly he should be able to drive across and find the early lead and in the past he has proven very hard to get past when on the lure.

Race 8: Lady Abigail
Lady Abigail is a very strong chaser and she looks well placed in the wide draw tonight. There is a fair bit of speed in the eight but they eight should clear her early and that will allow her to avoid interference. She has a slick 29.93 PB here and once she gets out wide into open spaces she is able to really pick up her stride and hit the line well. She should be around the $10 mark with William Hill and that appears to be great value.

Race 9: 1 to rove with 3,4,8 ($3 for 100%)
Cervelo is much better than his recent form reads and from the red he should be able to punch through and hold the early lead and if he does he should figure in the finish. The four has the speed to match him early and therefore he can fill a place, whilst the three and eight will both get to the line well and they must be kept safe.
