Leg 1 – Bendigo – Race 7: Midnight Flynn To Win $1.60
Midnight Flynn is all class and he is ideally placed in the pink draw. In recent weeks he has been taking on the likes of Shared Equity, Fever Pitch and Dyna Villa, so he should definitely appreciate the drop in class. He isn't the best of beginners but he does muster speed at a rate of knots and with the even spread of speed underneath he should get every chance to whip around and assume control mid race. He is quite short at the $1.60 but he does appear to be a good thing.
Leg 2 – The Gardens – Race 8: Zipping Angel To Win $3
Zipping Angel is a huge talent when she is on song and after two runs from a lengthy spell she should be ready to fire. From the red draw she should step well and I would expect her to drive through and hold the early lead. This is her first 500m race since resuming, so the last 30m may be a test but she should have a nice lead and at the $3 with Bet365 she is enormous value.
Leg 3 – Bulli – Race 4: Zambora Brockie To Win $2.30
Zambora Brockie is an exciting chaser and he is a genuine star in the making. He hasn't had a lot of luck in his past two starts but prior to that he did record some scorching wins on the provincial circuit in Victoria and this track is a lot similar. The middle pin is a small concern but he does explode soon after box rise, so as long as the six doesn't crash left he should be able to push through.
