Tuesday’s best bets: Horsham and Warragul on the radar

Sir Tex only holds the modest record of six wins from 42 starts but he does appear well placed to feature at Warragul tonight. The son of Collision and Xanadu Dancer has won or placed as seven of his 12 attempts over the track and trip and he meets a pretty steady line-up in this restricted wins event. He is generally slow into stride but should get room to move from the outside draw and can swoop around the field and score.

Best roughie – Horsham Race 12 No.8 Jacko's Reply
Jacko's Reply is well boxed out wide tonight, with two wins from four starts wearing the pink stretch vest. He should get a nice run into the race with Lektra Tilly drawn directly on his inside and he is more than capable of sneaking into the placings, with a win far from beyond him.
