Leg 1 – Warragul – Race 5: Chase The Breeze To Win $2.85
Chase The Breeze is armed with a dazzling turn of foot and from the pink he should be able to blaze across and settle in the top two early. I'm expecting him to match motors with Audacious Sprite in the initial stages but the red isn't as strong in the run home, so I should take over as they turn for home. He is currently a nice price at $2.85, so I suggest you snap it up early.
Leg 2 – Gosford – Race 5: Explosive Range To Place (Top Two) $1.67
Explosive Range can be slow to begin at times but he does muster speed quite quickly and with the empty draw underneath, he should be afforded all the breaks in the run to the first turn. Last time out he led all the way here in 35.21 and on that occasion he beat the classy It's A Bird, if he can gain a clear passage in the initial stages, he should balance up in a threatening position and a top two finish is definitely on the cards.
Leg 3 – Gosford – Race 7: Rubelly Magic To Place (Top Two) $1.62
Rubelly Magic is a faultless beginner and last time out she returned to form with a strong 22.96 Gardens win from this draw. She meets a good one in the pink but if she can step cleanly and hold the lead in the first 100m, she should be able to finish in the top two. She isn't known for her strength but over this journey she does hit the line well enough and she does appear to be a very safe bet.
