Very even race to open but I think Dave Irwin has a strong chance of taking home the prize. Fancy Arjo bombed the start in her heat last week and found bother at the first bend, however she managed to hit the line well and she went down by just over a length. In early December she trialled at Lismore and recorded a 24 flat, so she has genuine speed and tonight I am expecting her to settle much closer to the speed.

Littermate Fancy Dancer appears to be the danger, she is drawn to kick up and lead and if she does hold them out she should prove hard to reel in. She only went 30.30 in her heat but it was her first look at the track and I would expect her to improve dramatically on that time.

Star Torana showed smart early speed in her 30.33 heat win and she should give a great sight again, she will need to lead to win and a repeat of her 5.49 first section last week will give her every chance too.

Cyanide rounds out the chances, she should get a clear run early and she is showing plenty of promise.

Another very even race but it's hard to look past the highly talented Martin Clegg. He has been placed in his only two tries over this journey and he recently returned to form with a brilliant 26.39 win. The box draw hasn't done him any favours but with a clean getaway he should get every chance to lead and he is a different chaser when he lands on the bunny.

Zipping Saxon is an exciting prospect and he recently destroyed a field when scoring at in a scorching 30.48 and if he was too reproduce that effort he would get the cash with ease. The concern with him is that he can be slow to begin and from the middle pin he might get squeezed out early.

Kennelmate Zipping Carter is also showing loads of promise and he probably has a bit more genuine early speed, two starts back at Gosford he mustered pace quickly soon after box rise and he went on to score in a dazzling 29.55, if he can settle in the top two or three he should take a power of beating.

Cosmic Swiper could be the value, she has the speed to hold them out and she was far from disgraced in her debut run here last week.

Chica Destacada is a track specialist and after a couple of luckless runs she should be able to return to form tonight. She normally pings the lids and with the railer Fantastic Sid drawn underneath she should get a nice cart across in the early stages. Four starts back she exploded out of the traps and posted a 29.62 victory and that type of effort will see her score easily.

Winsome Mission is a super prospect and two starts back he overcame a few difficulties before scoring here in 29.92, on that occasion he was slow to begin and tonight I'm expecting him to step a lot better so he should go much quicker on the clock.

Bad Boy Sniper is drawn to get a nice sit behind the one, four and eight and he will be very strong in the run to the line.

Queen Esther rounds out the chances, she has enough speed to hold them out and she is racing with a lot more confidence.

Samus Allen has been racing in consistent form of late and I think she could be the value bet. Last week she was a tad slow to begin and she then had to work hard mid race to get into contention. She was far from disgraced in that effort and if she can step away cleanly like she normally does she will give a great sight at odds.

Zipping Tarn turned in a massive performance here last week when placed behind and if she repeats that effort she will take a power of beating, I would prefer her drawn closer to the rail but last week's effort was too good to ignore.

Cosmic Angel is well drawn out wide and he has a great record here, he should follow the seven across early and I'm expecting a strong performance.

Are Jip is a super talent but he is drawn poorly in the red, if he gets room early he is a massive chance but at the short odds I think he is a big risk.

Joane has the good draw and she has a great record here, four starts ago she pinged to the lead and scored in a slick 42.29 and from the red draw tonight she should be able to repeat the dose. Her past couple of runs haven't been great but I'm expecting an improved run in this class.

Eleazar has won four of 11 here and she should be suited by the empty draw on her outside, she can be very unreliable at times but tonight I can see her dropping in behind the speed early and she will be strong in the run to the line.

Serash Bale is a handy Victorian stayer and she should run a cheeky race in her Wentworth Park debut, she will need some room early but with a slow beginner in box three she should get every chance.

Luzaka Icon rounds out the chances, she returned to form with a brilliant 42.10 Richmond win last time but this is a little harder, so maybe just included her in your exotic bets.

Great final and I think Space Star is potentially the best stayer in the land. He is drawn perfectly in the pink and with a clean getaway he should be able to assume control as they head into the first turn. Last week he posted an impressive 42.20 overall but I think tonight under the right conditions he is capable of going sub 41.80.

Starc should be suited to a rails draw and he scored a powerful 42.47 heat win. That was his first look at the track last week so I am expecting him to improve a fair bit on that run and I am also expecting him to settle a lot closer to the speed.

Zipping Rory is hard to follow but if he pings the lids he is capable of running the hands off the clock, he was pretty ordinary last week but he does have a habit of turning his form around quickly.

Double Rinse rounds out the chances, she looked a little lost in her debut here last week and I'm expecting her to improve quite a fair bit.

Crackerjack Max is a highly promising Victorian speedster and he really caught the eye with a sizzling 29.43 Sandown Park win last time. There is a small concern with him having his first look at the track but he does possess great early speed and that should allow him to be out on his own as they negotiate the first turn. I am expecting him to find the bunny early and if he does he should put a space in them mid race.

Longneck has the good draw and he is dropping in class tonight, he has a great record here and he should get a nice sit in the early stages.

Take It All is a veteran chaser and he is still going well, he will be looking to get wide at the first turn and if he avoids bother he should be able to make an impact.

Gilgamesh scored a brilliant 29.90 win here three runs back and if she pings the lids she will run a bottler, there is a bit of speed on her outside but if she gets room to move early she can figure prominently

Dyna Villa just seems to do everything right and he looks poised to grab his second Group One Victory and push his prize money over the 600k mark. The pink draw can sometimes be a challenge at Wentworth Park but he tends to race best from wide draws and he is just faultless at box rise. He should get plenty of room to muster speed in the early stages and I can see him leading throughout. He is short odds in such a great final but he rarely makes mistakes and he looks the goods.

Spring Leaf could be the value in the event, she really impressed me last week when she reeled in the strong My Boy Snoop. Normally she shows smart early speed in her races and if she can get the sit behind Dyna Villa she should be able to fill the quinella spot.

Shoulders returned to his best with a devastating 29.64 heat win and if he begins like that again he will give the favourite a run for his money. The concern with him is that he isn't reliable early and he has a fair bit of speed drawn on his outside.

Assertive Bella is the only other winning hope, she has excelled since joining the Mackay kennel and she is drawn to get all the breaks in the run to the first turn.

Kurmond Goddess isn't really well drawn in the pink but she can show smart early speed in her races and she should be suited by the drop in class. Two starts back she turned in a big effort when narrowly here in fast time and with some luck early she should be able to go one better tonight.

Cawbourne Kayono hasn't had much luck since beating the talented Jumble here in December and he should be able to return to form here. He normally shows smart early speed and if he can sit behind the red in the early stages he will prove hard to hold out.

Von Ryan has a great record here and he has the speed to settle in the top three early, the box draw isn't great but he normally steps well and he should put himself into contention early on.

Walt Bale is going to be a super stayer in the future but at present he is sprinting very well and he will take a power of beating from the red. Last week he didn't have a lot of luck in a heat of the Paws but he was far from disgraced. Tonight's race features a heap of early speed and that should allow him to get a nice sit just off the speed and he should then prove far too strong in the run home.

Jack Kade is likely to hold them out at the first bend and he should give a great sight on the bunny, he has returned to form with two great Bulli wins of late and he appears to be racing with a bit more strength. I dont think he can hold out Walt Bale but he should hold on to the quinella spot.

Abunda should match motors with him early and she has been placed in two of three over this journey, like Jack Kade she isn't overly strong and she looks a better place prospect.

Barcelona Star is the interesting runner, she is much better than her form reads and she could improve from the pink draw.
