Race 1 – 520M Grade 5 – 7:30PM

Stylish Jenmar is armed with a great turn of foot and she displayed that when placed here last week. Tonight she finds herself in a race which really lacks genuine early speed and this should allow her to lead and dictate the race.

Mrs. Duncan looms as the obvious danger based on her sizzling 29.66 win recently when she pinged the lids and led throughout. A repeat of that effort will see her figure prominently again. Bobby Blanco has recorded three handy placings here of late and he appears well graded, my only concern is that he can be a tad slow to begin at times.

Top Four: 3 -2 – 7 – 1

Suggested Bet: Win bet on Stylish Jenmar.

Race 2 – 520M Grade 5 – 7:50PM

Aeroplane Blazer appears perfectly placed in the red alley and with his early speed he should have no trouble in finding the early lead. Two starts ago he was run down by Gold Buccaneer but I think he will be better for that run and he should run out the trip a lot better tonight.

Jewel Action is an exciting prospect who won her first three starts at and on each occasion she easily broke the 30 second barrier. She has good box manners and I would expect her to settle in the top three. Hilda's Boy is the other winning hope. After two smart wins over 400m he stepped up to the 515m trip at Gosford and set the track alight with a breathtaking 29.32 win. It's his first look at the track so he may need a run or two.

Top Four: 1 – 7 – 6 – 3

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 1,6,7/1,6,7/1,3,4,5,6,7,8 ($30 for $1)

Exacta: 1,7/1,6,7 ($4 for $1)

Race 3 – 520M Grade 5 – 8:07PM

Joe Hanley has been a gun provincial sprinter for quite a while now and tonight he looks well placed in his metro debut. He has always been a doubt over this trip, however last week he showed that the 500m journey isn't that tough by leading all the way at in a smart 29.65. If he steps on terms he should lead from go to whoa.

Explosive Ebony has the ability to cause a boilover and she may be over the odds tonight. She has been placed in four of her eight tries here and tonight she meets a field with a number of chasers who struggle to run the trip. If she can avoid early bother she should run a big race at odds. Amazon Lizard led for a long way here last week and if he can settle on the speed again, he will be in the mix.

Top Four: 6 – 3 – 2 – 5

Suggested Bets:

Boxed Quinella 2,3,5 ($3 for $1)

Exacta 3,6/2,3,5,6 ($6 for $1)

Trifecta: 6/2,3,5/Field ($18 for $1)

Race 4 – 520M Grade 5 – 8:50PM

Exciting prospect Tommy Brislane has looked super impressive on the provincial circuit of late, with his latest victory being at in a dazzling 26.17. He has won here previously and from the red alley he should fire to the early lead and be running sub 29.80. Will be short but looks a moral.

Hector Kahn is highly talented but he can be unreliable at times. With the early speed in the red, he should be able to drive through at the first turn and find himself in a prominent position mid race. Black Empress is facing a big rise in class but she is armed with early speed and is very consistent, having been placed in six of her past seven starts.

Top Four: 1 – 2 – 5 – 3

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 1/2,3,5/Field ($18 for $1)

Trifecta: 1/2,3,5/2,3,5 ($6 for $1)

Trifecta: 1/2/Field ($6 for $1)

Race 5 – 520M Grade 5 – 9:12PM

Zipping Delta is a class act when she is on song and she showed a return to form at Richmond with a slick 30.61 win a fortnight ago. She can be a tad slow to begin at times, but she has two railers drawn underneath and they should give her a nice cart across in the early stages. She has a fair bit on these and with an ounce of luck will get the cash.

Miners Moss has been pinging the lids of late and he has blinding early speed. With a clean beginning I would expect him to lead clearly again and my only concern is that he does fold up over the last 30m and Zipping Delta may have too close in the run. Jenmar Power will likely be over the odds and he has the ability to cause an upset.

Top Four: 5 – 3 – 4 – 1

Suggested Bets: Win bet on Zipping Delta (should get around $2.80) Rove in quinella with 3 & 4.

Race 6 – 520M Grade 4 – 9:35PM

Queen Esther is currently racing in career best form and if she reproduces her brilliant 29.80 win here from last week she will win easily. There is a fair bit of early speed in this event but her 5.42 first section last week would be enough to hold them out.

Push It is another with early speed and she too has been racing in a rich vein of form. She has won her past two starts here in impressive style and both times she has posted a first section of 5.43 or better. Tainted Luke has won three of his four starts here and he can settle on the speed also, the only concern tonight is that he may find it difficult getting across early.

Top Four: 1 – 3 – 8 – 7

Suggested Bet: Trifecta: 1/3,7,8/Field ($18 for $1)

Race 7 – 520M Mixed 4/5 – 9:57PM

has the luxury of slow beginners drawn either side tonight and with his early speed he should be able to set up a big lead mid race. The last 40m is always a worry with him but on the bunny he should be running sub 29.90 and that will be enough to salute tonight.

Asia's Babe is a very strong chaser and she continues to improve, last week she gave Amazon Lizard a monster start off the back straight and she still managed to reel him in. She will need a lot of luck early but if she gets through the first bend unscathed she will be a major player. El Caballo is well drawn and he appears to be the only other winning hope. He can be hit or miss early, but the red draw can be very forgiving if he does happen to miss away.

Top Four: 2 – 4 – 1 – 8

Suggested Bet: Win bet on Gaudi, very keen on this one.

Race 8 – 520M Special Event – 10:17PM

Avondale Zena is an exciting sprint prospect who has an impressive record having won 10 of her 19 starts to date. Last week she pinged the lids and reeled off a scorching 5.36 first section before going on to score in a very smart 29.86. She is facing her toughest test tonight but with her early speed she will be dictating the terms out in front and she should get every chance to salute.

Double Twist is obviously the class act in this event having won her past two starts here in 29.56 and 29.72 respectively. My concern with her tonight is that there is a lot of early speed drawn directly outside her and she may get squeezed out in the first 50m. Rue De Kahn was narrowly beaten by Avondale Zena last week and if she pings the lids she will be a major player again.

Top Four: 2 – 7 – 8 – 5

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 2/7,8/3,4,5,7,8 ($8 for $1)

Trifecta: 2/5,7,8/5,7,8 ($6 for $1)

Race 9 – 520M Grade 5 – 10:37PM

Prince Tanga has come up with the gun draw tonight and with a clean getaway he should be able to punch through and lead at the first bend. Last week he hit the line strongly after finding early bother, so tonight he should be able to go one better.

Freddy's Smile is dropping significantly in class and he will be steaming home late. The box draw is definitely a disadvantage, but he is always going to settle back in the field and if he can miss the kick like normal it will allow him to find the rail a lot easier. Swan's Mavis can ping the lids at times and she returned to form with a top 29.76 Gosford win. If she steps cleanly again she has winning prospects.

Top Four: 1 – 5 – 6 – 8

Suggested Bet: Win bet on Prince Tanga, drawn to get every chance.

Race 10 – 520M Grade 5 – 10:57PM

Cawbourne Whip has won three of her six tries here and in recent weeks she has posted two brilliant 600m wins at . On both occasions she pinged the lids and never looked back and tonight I'm expecting her to step cleanly again. With her strong 600m form it will be impossible for her opponents to reel her in.

Apollo Reign is ultra consistent and he recently broke through for a well deserved win at Richmond in 35.78. Tonight he drops back to the 520m journey but he showed a little more early dash last time, so he may be able to settle a little closer to the speed tonight. Kobi Jay has been racing without luck of late but he must always be considered in these type of events.

Top Four: 4 – 7 – 8 – 6

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 4/6,7,8/6,7,8 ($6 for $1)

Trifecta: 4,7/4,7,8/Field ($16 for $1)

Exacta: 4,7/4,6,7,8 ($6 for $1)

Quaddies

3,4,5/1,3/1,2,4/2,7,8 ($54 for $1)

5/1,3,7,8/1,2,4/2,7,8 ($36 for $1)
