Brilliant sprinter aiming to win the Adelaide/Australian Cup double. Drawn to run one hell of a race from box 1 where he is yet to be unplaced. Likely to get covered early from speed to his outside but is strong and can rail up to finish over them. Is capable of leading this though as evidenced in his all the way Ballarat Cup victory off this draw and if he leads nothing can run him down. Whatever beats him home will win but is a justified favourite. A win will push his prizemoney to over $430,000.

Very impressive heat winner, running 29.94 against a quality field. Is a really interesting runner considering his early pace but might be right up to his class if faced with breaking 29.90 to win this. Has really improved with age since a 30.71 maiden heat win here on debut back in June 2009 and has since made finals of both the Group 2 Ballarat Cup and Group 2 Gosford Gold Cup finishing 2009 with a bang. Not out of this and has drawn well for him, but might just be at the limit of his class. Either way, just making this final is a testament to John Maple's excellent training of this greyhound and I'm sure connections would be ecstatic with this improving greyhound.

Can't lead this field and can't run them down. Place hope at absolute best going on career best 30.22 and likely position in running. Doubt this field will go slow enough to give him any sort of hope, but great effort nonetheless to make this Group 1 final for what is a backyard bred greyhound.

Burst on to the scene winning his first four starts in a row and breaking 30 seconds at Sandown at his first 2 starts, but struggled for wins until late last year making the Melbourne Cup final, the took the Hobart Thousand final, before making the Adelaide Cup final and getting an invite to the Temlee before his 29.91 heat win. Has undoubted ability but needs to lead or get clear running to produce his best. Can't see either of those scenarios happening Saturday night from box 4 where he has started 4 times for only one placing. Will be in the firing line early and may define the race from the interference he causes and cops, but will not run a place.

Triple Derby winning greyhound who is looking to confirm his stud career here with a Group 1 win against open class greyhounds. Failed terribly here at The Meadows last year when looking all over the winner after leading the Group 1 Topgun field but folded in the run home to finish fourth. Led and got run down by Fedex in the Group 1 Temlee invitation, but against weaker class led all the way last start from box 2. Looks the likely leader again despite the box but may not get to cross the the rails. Will have to show more strength in the run to the line, with Dyna Lachlan likely to get the gun run on the railes behind him if he does lead. Definitely has the ability to win this but difficult to see him holding off Dyna Lachlan based on previous performances at this track.

Only bitch in the final and litter sister to favourite Dyna Lachlan, who was previously placed in the Group 3 Adelaide Oaks at her only other group final. First time in open company in a group final and is batting well above her weight here but early pace will either make or break the race for kennel mate and litter brother. Can't run fatst enough to win this but will either pressure High Earner early or clearly lead him. Suspect she goes up on his outside forcing those drawn inside her to search for wide runs, with the exception of Dyna Lachlan who should be a clear length and a half back in behind the speed on the rail. Whether she leads or just pressures High Earner, she looks like making the race for Dyna Lachlan, but she can't run a place.

The third of the Dailly runners who looks outclassed but has the ability to run on and might just get half a run from this draw. Definitely can't lead this field but does have a 29.97 PB to his name here and can finish the race off strongly. Youngest greyhound in the field but is drawn to get the best possible run for him. Could be a place chance at odds and has a bolters chance if the inside division jam up early.

Turned around a protracted period of indifferent form midway through his career to become one of the most consistent top level greyhounds in training. Despite that, has struggled in Group races, with his only success being the 2008 Geelong Cup. Real iron dog who is getting close to the end of his career, but has never really had a “let-up”, facing the starter at least once every single month since beginning his career in May 2008. Would have been some chance of winning this race from box 8 if this was at Sandown where he has perfected his wide box draw starts, by using the extra distance to build pace to the corner while cutting down to the rail. Doesn't get that luxury here at The Meadows, but will be pushing forward nonetheless. If by some miracle he got around the corner within 3 lengths of the leader, he might still be a rough hope but is likely to be trapped wide down the back straight and it is impossible to make ground at The Meadows once you get caught out there. Great dog, but box draw has done him no favours at all.
