Sport 927 Sandown Cup Final Preview

Greyhound BettingThe SportsBet pre post market for tonight’s Sandown Cup Final has finally been released.

There has been quite a bit of movement from the prices on offer before the heats, most notably Fallen Zorro has crashed in to $2.80 equal favourite with Chinatown Lad, from the $11 on offer prior to the heats.

Our value runner from last week, Kulu Spirit has come in from $34 to $21 and is sensational value again each way tonight. Kulu Spirit was held up sevreal times in the run last week and yet was still able to post the third quickest time of the night behind Fallen Zorro’s best of night 42.16.

Tonight’s final should run differently to the heats last week, where all the heats winners were able to set up comfortable leads early on and then just had to maintain the pace. Chinatown Lad (6.23), Fallen Zorro (6.23) and Bye Bye Bones (6.28) were all within one length of each other to the first mark last week and the other leader, Gunnadoo Magic; wasn’t far away in 6.36. That can’t happen tonight and Chinatown Lad’s abject failure in the Sky Galaxy Final when against better opposition is still haunting me.

For that reason I can’t have either of the Tasmanians tonight and particularly not at the short $2.80 quotes.

Kulu Spirit ($21) is drawn to get a good run again this week and should be able to finish over the front runners who won’t get much peace out in front tonight, and each way at the $21 we won’t do much damage if we get it wrong.

Don’t forget, just by opening a Sportsbet account from our links you will receive a free $50 bet, no deposit required.
