Imported sprinter and later outstanding outcross sire Which Chariot scored an impressive 10 lengths victory over 500 yards at Harold Park in 1960. The import, who had raced in the UK, had won his first two Australian starts, at Goulburn, in September.
The Darren McDonald-trained Shanlyn Prince defeated Pete's Conquest by half a head with Run's House third in the 2007 Shepparton Cup. Shanlyn Prince ran a fast 29.87 to pick up the $15,000 winner's cheque.

Besar's Pride registered his third win in three days, in 1953. At Ballina the dog won a heat and final over 515 yards on the same day, two days after scoring in a handicap at Lismore.
World Title, trained by Glen Rounds, scored a three lengths victory over Kacey's King in the 1997 Shepparton Cup. In what was a classy field, Open Country was a length away third ahead of Hotshot and Power Zone.
Go Ebo Go ran sectionals of 5.06 and 17.68 from box 5 on the way to a fast 29.88 victory in the 2006 Silver Bullet, run over 515 metres at Sandown. Trained by Jeff Bitton, Go Ebo Go earned $15,000 in defeating My Shout and See You Later, with the race being marred by the fall of Train A Journey.

Shapely Escort stormed home to score a narrow victory over the smart Size Seven in the 1970 Vic Peters Memorial Classic, run over 500 yards at Harold Park. Trained by John Drady, Shapely Escort earned $6,110 for her half-head victory in a fair 26.7.
Ban Rich defeated Sun Seeker and Bosun's Mate to take out the 1986 Leo Barbeler Memorial, conducted over 722 metres at Richmond. Among the unplaced division was NCA Derby and Chairman's Cup finalist Genuine Scandal.

Bigbad Trent scored a three-quarters of a length victory over future superstar Rapid Journey in the 1997 Penrith Derby, run over 530 metres. The Gary Young-trained sprinter earned $12,000 for connections in defeating a field which also included Leonie's Osti and Kellbrett Ned.
Que Sera Sera won the 2007 Sapphire Crown Classic at Sandown by a length and a half from One Tree Hill with Tasman Queen third and Miss Hot Gossip fourth. Trained by Angela Langton, Que Sera Sera earned $50,000 for her victory.

Tientsin Tosca lowered the 530 metres track record at Wentworth Park in 1974, running 30.64 to clip 6/100ths off the previous mark set almost two years earlier by Benny McGrath when times were still posted to the nearest tenth instead of hundredth.
Brilliant sprinter Paw Licking set a new track record time of 22.48 for the 411 metres journey at Casino in 2012.

The final of the 2007 Bull N Barley Cup, run over 520 metres at Wentworth Park, was won by the Christine Oldfield-trained Spring Smile, who downed Striped by just over five lengths in 30.37, with Incoming Virus third. The race was worth $8,000 to the winner.

Jungle Fantasy annexed the 1995 Penrith Derby for trainer Mary Wright, defeating the talented Railway Road by a length and a quarter with Tasman Devil third. Jungle Fantasy clocked a speedy 30.23 for the 530 metres trip.
Happy Reuben downed Northern Legend and Keon Star to take out the 1996 AWM Distance Title. This was the first of what would only be two runnings over 715 metres at Sandown Park. It was also the first to be called the AWM Distance Title.
Sassy Sprite established a new 635 metres track record at Lismore in 2008, running 37.16 on the six-year-old loam circuit.
