2010 Group 3 Chairmans Cup Now To Be Run As A Straight Final
Written By Kevin Pitstock, Editor & Australian Greyhound Racing Expert Contributor Wednesday 1st September 2010

In a worrying trend, the 2010 Tedesco Menswear Chairman’s Cup will be run this year as a straight out final after insufficient nominations were received for heats.
Despite the $15,000 to the winner prizemoney on offer, not enough nominations were received at GRNSW, for the NSW GBOTA to run the Group 2 feature staying race with heats.
The same situation recently befell the Queensland National Distance Championships, were only enough nominations were received for a straight out final.
The race will now be run as a non graded event for the best eight nominations on Saturday 11th September 2010.
Nominations for the straight out final will now close at 12 noon on Tuesday 7th September 2010 with GRNSW.
