Adele Powell Appeals 3 Month Suspension
Stewards concluded an Inquiry into the circumstances surrounding Ms Adele Powell leaving a Stewards’ Inquiry, without permission, at Wentworth Park on 24 September 2007.
Adele Powell pleaded Guilty to a breach of Rule 125(1)(p) of the Greyhound Racing Rules in existence at that time for disobeying the direction of Stewards to remain in the Inquiry.
After careful consideration on penalty, Adele Powell’s registration as an Owner and Trainer was suspended for three months.
Adele Powell has lodged an Appeal against the Stewards’ decision.
A Stay of Proceedings has been granted by the Greyhound and Harness Racing Appeals Tribunal.
