All A Blaze sets the time standard in Ladies Bracelet heats

ALL A Blaze continued her sizzling run of form on Saturday night, recording a dominant win in a heat of the 3 Ladies Bracelet (520m) at Wentworth Park.

Trained by , the daughter of El Grand Señor and Willow Blaze only began fairly from box two but was able to push up along the fence to slip into second spot behind early leader Good Odds Angel (box seven) around the first turn. Despite the front runner kicking clear heading into the back straight, the black bitch began grinding away, levelling up on the home turn and shooting through along the fence to score by four and one quarter lengths in 29.87.

It was the second win for All A Blaze in less than a week, with the 28 kilogram bitch having won the $15,000 in a 29.39 last Sunday.

Also scoring an impressive win in the Ladies Bracelet heats was Fantastic Skye for . Stepping fairly from box one, the blue bitch had to muster pace quickly to hold out Viroutte (box two) in the early stages, pushing up along the fence through the catching pen to assume the lead as the field approached the 720m boxes.

Once out in front, the daughter of Goodesy and Light Fantastic put the paw to the floor, stretching out to defeat the fast finishing Zipping Lilly (box seven) by two and one quarter lengths in a slick 29.91.

Fantastic Skye will now be aiming to secure her second bitches-only feature, having already won the at Sandown Park earlier in her career.

Group 2 Futurity place getter Sheza Size (box four) was the favourite in the opening heat of the night, but was only fair to begin and was never in contention after getting squeezed up early. Taking advantage of the favourite's tardiness was Too Many Daddys which was able to carve across from the outside.

Running through the pen Too Many Daddys attempted to cross down to the fence, but was dragged down and turned sideways, however she was able to regain her footing and kick clear heading down the back.

Turning for home and Too Many Daddys was still kicking, holding off a late challenge from Paloma Lago to score by three quarters of a length in 30.43, giving the daughter of and Moonshine Sally her sixth career win at start 29.

The remaining heat was a rough affair, with Dokmai able to push through congestion on the first turn, with many of her other opponents put out of play.

Despite copping a few hard bumps, Dokmai showed plenty of ticker to surge clear of the field, fighting off Rod Metselaar's Tap Out Rose in the closing stages to score by a head in a slow 30.81.
