Donna Widdows Trains Four Winners At Temora
Donna Widdows took out four races for the day where the GBOTA Maiden 311 was the first race in a 12 race programme.
Swanky Annie won easily out of the 6 box for Bill Schwencke and Donna Widdows in 18.13 one length to second place getter, Mink Adams and third, My Robbie.
Race 2, the Cornford’s Hardware Maiden 457m saw Alison Green win with Miss Enforcer for 26.39 with Awesome Ado and Becky’s Me Mum filling the places.
Race 3 was the Crutcher’s Supa IGA saw box one do the trick for Maid of Life owned by Melba Spence running 18.29, 2nd McVenus and 3rd Swanky Suzie.
Race 4, the Blue Paws 5th grade 457m saw Amberisation win all the way for Arthur Fahey of Barmedman in a time of 26.43 with Little Kiss and Serious Quest filling the places.
Race 5, the Neil Grimmer & Co 570m Non Graded Stake saw a wonderful run by the 5 dog, Bling Bling Ado when it jumped in front to lead all the way to win easily in 33.67 for Trevor Cook of Wagga with 2nd, St Poppa Wally and 3rd Barrylex.
Race 6 was the Ag-N-Vet Stakes where we saw box 6 again win for Donna Widdows with Swanky Jade in a good time of 17.90 giving Donna her 2nd for the day. Ellie Brooker and Typhoon Shoes filled the places.
Race 7, the Swanky Park Kennels Stake had a good time over 457 in 26.13 for Corona Kelly who is trained by Brian Lord of Jindera with Debbie’s Welcome and Top Pick taking out the places.
Race 8, the Nice Products 311m saw Late Show Kali bolt home running 17.80 and not giving any of the field a chance with a fantastic time like that. Gordon Herbert was a very pleased owner/trainer after his bitch won. Yvonne’s Best ran 2nd and Royal Ado 3rd.
Race 9 was the E V Harmer Painting Stake which saw Swanky Pumpkin make it 3 wins for Donna Widdows running 18.00 seconds with 3/4 of a length beating Keep Crowing and Misty Corona.
Race 10, the Ellis Breust Painting 457 had Harry Grondo win in 26.43 for Brian Lord with Abby Belle and Break the News taking the places. This gives Brian a double for the day.
Race 11, the Piroque Lodge Stake saw Small Win for Merve Pinney in 18.16, 2nd was After Shock and 3rd, I’m So Cool.
Race 12, the M C Derrick Produce Stake was lucky last for Donna Widdows with Swanky Leisel giving her 4 wins for the day. Swanky Leisel ran 17.91, one length ahead of Little Moment and Gunna Mick.
Swanky Ell was the mother of all Donna’s four winners from two different litters, making her a good brood bitch with a 100% win for every pup she had racing.
Temora race again on the 13th July with a Blue Paws 311 Maiden Stake.
