Doubles Day Out At Temora

It was double headers all the way around for trainers at Temora on Sunday as they held a 14 race programme in freezing conditions on a heavy track.

Race 1, the Maiden saw the 3, Suzie jump to the front to lead all the way running 18.30 for followed by Wild Intensity and Joleen.

Race 2, the MC & B Derrick Produce 457 Maiden saw first starter win in 26.93 for C Bradley with placings, Awesome Ado and Benson Bale.

Race 3, the saw Tiggerlong Oliva win for in 8.21 and taking home the bonus as well. Placings were Radiate and .

Race 4, the EV Harmer Painting Stakes mixed 457 had win in 26.69 for giving him back to back wins on the track with Classy Been, 2nd Perfect Pattern and 3rd Our Cease Fire.

Race 5, the Maiden 311 saw win in 18.24 with his dog Feliz Navidad with and Looney Tune Liam filling the places.

Race 6, the A-N-Vet 4/5 grade 570m saw Bruce Williams make it a double when his dog Jack A Hearts flew home up the straight winning in 33.39 beating Shari Bale who lead most of the way and , third.

Race 7, the Crutcher’s Supa IGA 3/4 311m had new comer Daniel Walker with his dog Hold Em Barry win in a tight run in 18.23 with and in the placings.

Race 8, the 4/5 grade Heat 1 saw the favourite, jump and lead all the way to win in 26.12 for and with and Patty Cake filling the places.

Race 9, the Cornford’s Hardware saw fly the lids to win easily for in 18.20 beating Erakor and Pardner’s Hope.

Race 10, Heat 2 of the Ray Gavenlock Memorial saw local dog She Won’t Panick fly from the one box to win easily in 26.09 making it the favourite for the final next meeting. She won’t Panick has improved since running the 311m for Cheryl Bradley. 2nd was and 3rd Thunder Nuts. This is was a double for Cheryl.

Race 11 saw Victorian trainer Mick Niele win with . The first of his double in 17.93 running home too strong for with third.

Mick also took out the next with Conquer who was too strong for the rest in 226.57. Running on was Dalgaz Dennis for second and Stunning Kali, third.

Heat 3 of the Ray Gavenlock Memorial saw new comer win with from and Eliza’s Choice filling the places in the time of 26.38.

The last was taken out by the Donna Widdows trained which made it a double for her with second being and Annie Brooker third in 18.19.

Our next meeting is on the 17 August being the Final of the Ray Gavenlock Memorial with all dogs catered for. T
