Kayda Shae shines in Cyril Rowe Bulli Cup final

THE 2 Cyril Rowe Cup trophy is heading to Victoria after an impressive display on night by Kayda Shae.

Prepared by Lovely Banks trainer , the 33kg chaser started as the equal $2.80 favourite with kennel mate Ride The Rails.

Fancy Top (3) and Aston Wingard (7) were best away at box rise, with Kayda Shae (5) squeezing between runners in the early stages to take a comfortable lead. The son of Kilty Lad and Cosmic Aphrodite gapped his rivals by six and three quarter lengths at the finish, stopping the clock in a sizzling 26.07 seconds.

One of Bravo's other runners Waymore's Blues secured the quinella for Kelly and her husband Brett, producing a sensational effort from box eight after finding trouble heading into the turn.

Melinda Finn's Winsome Jacko made aup a stack of ground, as expected, and finished third.
