Knocka All The Rage In The Mega Maiden Final At The Gardnes

Exciting youngster Knocka Knows All set The Gardens alight last week, running a 29.45 to be by far the fastest qualifier for the $15,000 to the winner Mega Maiden this afternoon.

There has been plenty of hype surrounding the son of Knocka Norris and Miss Venamite, especially after champion trainer stated that he was the fastest chaser he has trained at the same age, faster than the likes of Group one Winners and record breakers such as , Made To Size, Knocka Norris, Elite Oriental and .

“This dog is special and I have been blowing his trumpet for months,” Kay told The Greyhound Recorder's Gary Harley

“I have told plenty that he is the quickest dog I have trained at his age, which includes Knocka Norris, Made To Size and Elite Oriental.

“The week before the Mega Maiden heats I sent him post to post at The Gardens and he broke the record. He ran 24.36, quicker than Knocka Norris and Made To Size in their prime and his middle section is comparable to 's time.

“He is the first dog I have had that I started off in a 500. Normally I would build them up with 400's but not this bloke, I knew he wouldn't let me down.” Said a proud Kay

Kay bought Knocka Knows All for $10,000 off a trial up the straight track at Rocky Ridge Farm where his NSW training base is situated and he has since knocked back much larger sums to purchase the boom youngster.

“I've been offered $50,000 for him before the heats but he is not for sale.

Knocka Knows All will exit box three in today's rich final, outside another Knocka Norris youngster Good Odds Knocka for the shrewd training team of Tracey and .

“He has come up with the three box in the final and that's okay, but this is a very good final and he won't want to do anything wrong” Kay

Bog Bunga returned to winning form with a brilliant all the way win last start and should continue to improve over the next couple of weeks
